i would expect to see him slot in at LB, he's been playing better there as of late.

More like Gilberto with Malbranque in front against Man U in my opinion.

Once Bale gets back i'm pretty sure we'll see Bale playing in front of him though.

Ahh i wondered where our brasillian spur had got to, so now tell us about Gilberto, what kind of a player is he? acounting for his age he seems to have alot of speed is he good enough to calm Ronaldo in your opinion? tell us about him, come on come on...

If you can't i'll be very dissapointed

I've been to a few brazil friendlies and was always impressed with this guy. Its a shame there is such a wealth of talent in Brazil or he would have got his shot earlier. Remember he has maxwell, maicon (can play left) and some other young guy whos looking a bit sharp to compete with. The Brazilian talent vehicle is incredible. Likes attacking and whipping balls into the box. Quick feet (there whole team also does) and never looks out of place going forward. At the back the years of european footie has steadied him. I'm really glad we finally have a Brazilian in our team.

The third guy is probably Marcelo, who's at Real Madrid. He's already got 2 games to his name, despite being only nineteen years old.

Don't forget this option: King in CM, with Chimbonda at CB in his place.
This lineup – with Bale on the LM, Gilberto at LB, Woodgate, Hutton, Lennon,Jenas, Berb and Keane – is (on paper anyways) our best on the field. Only weakness then might be GK.
Will be interesting to see if and when Juande will try this. Depends mostly on King's condition I suspect.

Funny there's no mention of O'Hara at left-back considering he had such a good game against Ronaldo on Sunday. Don't be surprised to see that with Gilberto starting on the bench.

I thought on sunday they underestimated us somewhat - it looked as if they weren't taking it entirely seriously in the first half. Hopefully we can become a bogey team for them - unlikely as the 3-1 makes it seem, but I think I can see some of the seeds there.
