I just hope Redknapp is able to get some motivation going again in a changing room that must be really low after being shown how to play clinical football at home and away.
Van der Vaart is right. His is a rallying call; he is able and willing to stand up as he is a senior player. By rights, it should have been Dawson, but this is one of the reasons why we don't just lose 1-0. We have little leadership on the park.

I'd love to see him be made captain. He plays with his heart on his sleeve and is a feisty one. He seems to really like the club too and has the quality and experience to command respect. Daws is basically captain because he's a nice guy and has been here a long time. However i cant see him having a go at someone if they need it... ever.
