I'm sure you're posting in good faith rebrab, but my understanding is that King's contract was signed in the week.

Can't see the Cahill for Pav thing, would Pav or Cahill be more likely to keep Bolton in the Prem? I'd think Cahill personally.
A straight purchase may be successful as Bolton would find it difficult to turn down a good offer so maybe it's Pav out and the money used to buy Cahill, could that fit your received info Redrab?.

I really hope you're right actually!

Sandro, I don't know. Trust POTL though, he's a good itk.

Possibly. I was told Pav for Cahill if we can. Maybe I got it wrong?

Did'nt the paper you work for have a piece today about the club stalling on giving King a new contract ?

If it did, then that would have been new info after I left the office. I wasn't there late last night as I've been unwell. The last I heard, which was yesterday morning, that was it was signed. Could well be wrong.

The article was written by Rob Shepherd, not sure how good his sources are, so could just be BS picked up from internet forums.

Fingers crossed that the info you heard yesterday morning was correct.

Hope your feeling better soon.

When you have Roma, Spartak Moscow, even Arsenal, linked with you, I doubt you'd be interested in Bolton.

Pav is more likely to head home to avoid becoming another Rebrov, even though he hasn't really been given a chance (similar to Rebrov).

Cheers fella. I guess we'll have to wait and see, wouldn't be surprised if it is true though.

Cheers for sharing, though. Good on you, rebrab. Nice to see you back in action.

My understanding of the shinpad thing was that that happened against the Daggers a few weeks back and this time he was just crap/didn't try. Either way, not good.

Ledley is the bad news we all feared but half-expected. Any idea if he would still get a testimonial/shorter term deal?

I was hoodwinked on the old tidbits/titbits thing and then found out that the Americans changed it to tidbits because it was less rude. Could be wrong twice of course...

Ooh, interesting. I'm just going on our style guides, which are pretty kick-ass. People with much bigger brains than me came up with them, so i set my life by them.

Mind you, they do have the word 'till' as acceptable for measuring distance between time.

If Pavs is suffering from depression now Bolton sure as hell is going to make things a whole lot worse.
It's good to get the ITK going anyway!

i've been one of ledley's biggest supporters but I realise that if we are to really move on, we need a settled back four. I wouldnt class woodgate in the same category because he hardly had any injuries with us before this season. Still, the groin injury is a problem. We can attack very well on most occasions but the key to a solid defence is keeping the same players there.

I'm happy with the full-backs and I'm not too fussed about dawson and bassong. They both have many years ahead of them and have the ingredients for a great partnership (one is no-nonsense and one has good pace). As for challenging the top four, I'd ideally like a fit experienced head to help them.

Would like us to sign Gary Cahill. Was disappointed that we didn't go for him in summer instead of Bassong considering they would have cost the same as Megson said he had £8.5 million buy out clause in his old contract. Not that I dont like or rate Bassong as i do but think Cahill is slightly better prospect also we wouldnt face losing him every other year to African cup of nations. Not that i want to go against the ITK on this but I would be surprised if Bolton decided to sell him though.

Shame about Ledley but i think it is time for him to call it a day now. He keeps picking up different injuries due to his lack of training. Also think we need to have settled back 4 which we cant really have with Ledley only being able to play 2 game a week at most.

And somehow they've duped us in to using "gotten" instead of "got" :-|
