I'm sure you're posting in good faith rebrab, but my understanding is that King's contract was signed in the week.
Can't see the Cahill for Pav thing, would Pav or Cahill be more likely to keep Bolton in the Prem? I'd think Cahill personally.
A straight purchase may be successful as Bolton would find it difficult to turn down a good offer so maybe it's Pav out and the money used to buy Cahill, could that fit your received info Redrab?.

Did'nt the paper you work for have a piece today about the club stalling on giving King a new contract ?
If it did, then that would have been new info after I left the office. I wasn't there late last night as I've been unwell. The last I heard, which was yesterday morning, that was it was signed. Could well be wrong.
The article was written by Rob Shepherd, not sure how good his sources are, so could just be BS picked up from internet forums.
Fingers crossed that the info you heard yesterday morning was correct.
Hope your feeling better soon.

Cheers for sharing, though. Good on you, rebrab. Nice to see you back in action.
My understanding of the shinpad thing was that that happened against the Daggers a few weeks back and this time he was just crap/didn't try. Either way, not good.
Ledley is the bad news we all feared but half-expected. Any idea if he would still get a testimonial/shorter term deal?
I was hoodwinked on the old tidbits/titbits thing and then found out that the Americans changed it to tidbits because it was less rude. Could be wrong twice of course...
Possibly. I was told Pav for Cahill if we can. Maybe I got it wrong?
Manuel Fernandes.
Cheers for the info as usual Rebrab! Are you sure they meant Gary Cahill?
And somehow they've duped us in to using "gotten" instead of "got" :-|Ooh, interesting. I'm just going on our style guides, which are pretty kick-ass. People with much bigger brains than me came up with them, so i set my life by them.
Mind you, they do have the word 'till' as acceptable for measuring distance between time.
