But anything that's come out after Ben and other ITKs said it was done has only served to confirm that everyone at Spurs thought it was.

There's no use ripping into the ITKs when something very queer has happened AFTER it was all sorted. It seems it's City that are trying to pull a late plug AFTER we agreed a fee and after the player agreed terms, that's not the ITKs fault.

I remember when Bale was over & then went back to Cardiff, then came back the next morning and it was all done, that was a hell of a saga. The Bent one was good too, he was locked in meetings all day with the Egg & Curbs, then came out and said no hahaha

May I point out ben and many of the other "ITKs" you all worship claimed Luis Garcia had officialy signed. Notice how they all seem to jump on a media bandwaggon, how we never heard corluka mentioned vefore the times did, then suddenly they come out in force, likewise with Garcia.

I've said the same thing before. If anyone was really ITK, they would know before something appeared in the press. As far as I can see, these guys just pick up on what's been written in the papers and then say "it's on" etc. every day or so until we sign the player. If the papers don't mention a player for a bit, then we hear that we're no longer interested in that player and if we're continually linked with a player and they suddenly move elsewhere, we're told that we changed our mind.

Rather than say "take things with a pinch of salt" I'd say ignore them all together. I can't remember one ITK that has come out with something that can be proven to have been true.

OK, excuse my naievety and ignorance of such matters, but, if Taksinwhatsiname has done a runner from Thailand, on the basis that he would be convicted like the missus, is he still considered a fit and proper person by the (sweet FA) to own a football club.
And if not and the whole thing is going tits up, surely Hughes won't want to hang around on a sinking ship.
There could be firesale of players on the horizon anyway.

If I recall correctly Spurs sent someone (Commoli?) with him for the trip home. Probably wanted to make sure that any other interested parties couldn't mess with the deal.

Would be interesting to know the reason why Corluka has returned up north. Ordered back? Tieing up loose ends?

Agreed - if the charges stick in Thailand (which it appears they or at least some of them will) it will be very difficult for the FA to stick by its "fit and proper person" rules.

ffs, would have been a good signing. What implications will this have on the Kaboul deal? Who now will be a realistic target?
