Apparently a target for Spurs and is looking to leave in the summer. Would he be a good signing for us?

He would be decent cover, can't see him being a starter. He has looked decent this season.

Maybe we should be aiming a little higher though.

I've been thinking he'd be a good signing for us for a little while now. He's got a bit about him, and would perhaps flourish with better quality players alongside him.

He can cover either wing and play up front at a push. Good versatility. Worth a little shifty, I think. Maybe Junior Hoilett would be the better option, but Moses is a good option too.

Him or Hoilett would do me fine. We need someone who can come off the bench and be a pacey threat. Both very tricky wingers. Moses gave Sagna a roasting at the library as well, he was very impressive.

Well, it's not like we'd be signing him to spearead our entire attack is it? Would hope the likes of Hoilett and Krasic would be told to stop being a massive idiot bench-riding fuckhead and sign as well.

We do need some creativity and wide options signed though. Just one or 2 injuries and we look totally bereft at times.

Also, be interesting to see who we sign in defence. Need at least a couple of CBs and cover/comp at both FB spots. (Caulker, Smith and Naughton will hopefully help fill out the squad in that respect)

And of course, the Neverending Story re: strikers.

I'd sign two wingers if possible this summer

Moses/Hoilett/Krasic/Johnson/Marin

2 of those would do me!

What I like about Moses is that he's a physical specimen coupled with moments of brilliance that very few players would attempt such as the dummy against Sagna.

If we are to utilise the 433 and, playing devil's advocate that Rodgers is installed then I can definately see someone like Moses, a low risk, high reward player being of considerable interest.

Where was he reported as a target?

Wouldn't be unhappy.

I read it online somewhere today. Obviously doesn't mean it's true but he isn't staying there beyond this season according to his agent.

Would be a good squad player but not IMO a player to improve our first team to the level we should be aiming for.

Thanks.

I'd prefer Hoilett for now, but Moses is definitely an interesting, albeit raw, talent. With the right coach guiding him he could become a top player. Logical for us at the right price.

He was a target allegedly before he went to Wigan, citing the obvious fact back then that he would get more game time with the perennial relegation flaunters.

I'm not sure he is the special player Harry always alludes to during each window ( iam beginning to believe that this is levyspeak for "I'm not spending money on him).

That said, if he has changed his mind regarding his status in a Premiership squad, he would be decent cover.

Agree Hitch.

Personally think there's a very good player in him waiting to be unleashed.

I think Moses has the potential to be a better player than Hoilett, although he is less well rounded currently. He's got a bit of magic about him, and is pacier. I think he'd be a good signing to play on the right switching wings with Bale.

And we really need decent cover on the wings.

Moses has impressed me as to has Martinez...we should get both Remy Holliett and Johnson.

Probably not seen him enough to judge, but if I were going just on what I have seen then it would be a definite yes for me. Looks like he could do really well in a 4-2-3-1/4-3-3 too!

No Moses is a much better option than Hollett - he can cover the striker position at a stretch. Poor mans Remy. Moses has used his time well at Wigan to improve from his Crystal Palace days

However still prefer to get in one/two strikers and a CB for the first team before looking at alternatives for Lennon/Bale which is where a Moses or Hollett would play - although as I say, at a stretch Moses can cover a striker position too.

He needs to learn how to shoot and pass first. He makes Taarbat look like a team player.
