I think photos of players clearing their lockers should mandatory. Imgaine the Adebayor ones over the years! Here's a bunch of pictures of Janssen saying goodbye to people at AZ:

Apparently just left AZ training complex with small suitcase in hand:
What are we taking the piss out of AZ for not being as rich as us now? Classy.

It's alright we sent someone...shame they don't like him enough to have anyone waiving goodbye in the airport lounge
Faster than Harry? Not from the footage I've seen of him so far. Not for me. Harry increased his speed with help from poch et al and isn't slow by any means. Be good if they can do the same with VJ.Why is pace your concern when he isn't slow? He is faster than Harry Kane and if memory servs he has popped a goal or two in, don't quote me on that though.
Janssen slow is a myth, not lightening quick, but not slow.
You're very observant, Sir.
Why are so many people obsessed with speed? Janssen has something much better than speed, he has the instinctive knack of being in the "right place right time". Kane doesn't have that, not many players do have it. You don't need speed if you have that instinct, it can't be taught or coached, it's a natural instinct. Berbatov had it, Dempsey had it, van Persie had it, Henry had it, Clive Allen had it, Greaves had it, but not many others have it.Faster than Harry? Not from the footage I've seen of him so far. I can neither confirm nor deny he'll be joining my shift.Well we know that hes definitely going somewhere from these photos.....
Maybe a new job at tesco's?
Game's moved on a lot; speed helps, defenders aren't slouches. Like I said, he does know where the goal is and that's crucial. Why are so many people obsessed with speed? A real beer and chips player.
Yes because he has that "right place right time" instinct.Game's moved on a lot; speed helps, defenders aren't slouches. Like I said, he does know where the goal is and that's crucial.
I agree. Pace is still a huge attribute in the prem nowadays for a striker, though. Just is.Yes because he has that "right place right time" instinct.
When you say "in the premiership", it depends. In the case of the top teams who usually tend to dominate possession while the lower table teams tend to "park the bus" against them, speed is nowhere near as important as creativity. Leicester last season capitalised on Vardy's speed simply because they sat back and allowed teams to come on to them and then hit them on the counter where there was space behind for Vardy to run into. When teams park the bus, as a lot do against spurs, there is no space to run in behind, speed is nowhere near as effective as intelligent manoeuvring.I agree. Pace is still a huge attribute in the prem nowadays for a striker, though. Just is.
Levy would probably offer him half a shandy and a packet of crisps.
