After he scored his goal and made it 4-0, was there a new chant for him coming from our end? Or was it the jocks getting abusive?

Well it doesn't get as loud a rendition as that usually, so in a way it is.

I've heard it being sung before at games. It's....

Gareth Bale, Gareth Bale,
He was born to play for Spurs,
He was born to play for Spurs.

Yes we do. The VdV song is good, I like to think I helped to start it after I posted it on another forum (wearetottenhman.net i think) when we signed him as a suggestion as to what his chant could be, and then on that football chants website and lo and behold I heard it not long after. Could be a coincidence, I like to think not

I think I prefer the moronic BALE BALE BALE to this tbh

The Baaaale, Baaaale, Baaaaale could actually be pretty cool if we got it going with the same intensity as the Welsh rugby fans do (I assume you are aware that it comes from the Wales, Wales, Wales chant at the Millenium Stadium).

Not quite as good as:

Boom boom boom, everybody say Bale....Baaaaale! (credit Outhere brothers)

or for Disco Benny

"D.I.S.C.O Assou - Ekotto!" to the tune of D.I.S.C.O

Liverpool sung that BAE tune for Maxi Rodriguez last season. Actually sounded really good when they did it.

'He was born to play for Spurs' is at least a year old now. That and the Baaaale chant are probably average at best. He's had a brilliant season and has just starred in his first Hollywood blockbuster as Cesar, he should be getting top class Hollywood chants.
