I personally think we can win the remaining 5 matches.

*Waits patiently for my dreams to be crushed this Saturday.

It's a pretty big banana skin isn't it. Wigan are generally the best team in the comp over the final 5 rounds. Massive pressure on every game coming in now

I've posted before that arsenal are nailed on for a top four place, not necessarily 3rd because we and chelsea have to play each other and all we have to do is win our remaining matches that means we must win at Stamford bridge, anybody else remember what that feels like.

Arsenal arent nailed on for top 4 at all. any 2 of the 3 is equally likely.

It is probably going to change on a weekly basis now on in. Pressure means every single game for each of us is a banana skin, I expect some unforeseen results.

Betting without Manchester ( Paddy Power )

Chelsea Evens
Arsenal 7/5
Tottenham 4/1

4/1 to finish 3rd looks a decent bet if Lennon, Bale and Defoe stay fit

Bearing in mind they'll have factored in a massive edge to their odds, their true estimations will be even longer than this.

4/1 is mental odds, considering we're technically in a better position than Arsenal (allowing for our game in hand), and arguably better than Chelsea given their run-in. I took this bet at 16/5 back in February, and it still looks pretty good to me.

Mate, there's a reason you're not a multi-million pound successful gambler, whereas Paddy-Power is!

I'm actually really looking foward to our run in, even though I'll be really nervous. We have our key players back and the game at Chelsea could be a real hum dinger. I think we'll definitely score there, question is can we put in a good defensive display. We do that and I think we stand a great chance.

Having no mid week games will give us an advantage, not just avoiding physical fatigue but mental as well...we'll make less mistakes now I reckon.

Touch wood we don't lose any key players to injury now, if we don't I'm confident.

I'm in the 'each game as it comes camp' but I do know that a lot of Arse and Chelski fans are concerned at their prospects. Arse fans know they have not been playing well and have been lucky and Chelsea fans realise they have a tough run in and a manager that makes odd decisions.

Come on Spurs!!

Each team does have potential banana skins that is true and so we can't be certain of these however, what we can be absolutely certain of is that, unlike arsenal, either us or chelsea will, must, drop points.
Maximum points is possible for arsenal it is not for both us and chelsea.

They're not equally likely!

The bookie's odds will totally change once we beat Wigan and the Gooners and the Chavs drop points to UTD and Swansea respectively.

We'll get top 4, i'm fairly confident about that. 3rd? not a bad shout. If we do the biz this weekend then I think it will be in our hands. Everyone seems to be shitting themselves about the chavs. We gave them a good run for there money earlier in the season when we had no Bale or Dembele. They have shit fans who like to get on the teams back (even more than us) as soon as they go behind, our away form has been immense.

I really think the City game will help cement the already excellent team spirit and belief we have in the squad.

I don't know if we're favourites, and I obviously don't know where we'll finish. There is one thing that I do know for a certain fact: if we win all of our remaining games, we will finish third. Irrespective of any other results. I obviously hope that the goons and chavs both implode, but if we do what we need to do it simply won't matter.

I may be deluded, but after the last two seasons I think that this is our time. I'm just hoping that Everton make a late surge and finish fourth to our third.

No way are we favourites for 3rd, that's Spurs tinted talk

We're third favourites with the bookies, rightly so. Every neutral fan I've spoken to has us as the ones to miss out to as do most football pundits/experts

Arsenal have the best form and are winning games even when they don't play well, plus their fixture list would look to be the easiest on paper

Chelsea has the quality of European Champions and home advantage in the crunch game against us

We're third favourites currently, it's as simple as that

However, this means the square root of fuck all

We were very strong favourites - rightfully so - after we beat Arsenal, but shit changed.

Arsenal and Chelsea were strong favourites to beat us before we kicked off against Man City - but shit changed

Now we're still third favourites but if we beat Wigan and the other two slip up shit will again change

We have things in our own hands - which is nice. We are very much in the race and have a great chance of both 4th and 3rd - which is nice. Make no mistake we can make the Champions League and we can even make it automatically, no one can doubt our potential to do so after our comeback against City

But to everyone who's not a Spurs fan we're third favourites right now, but hopefully that will change again in the coming weeks if Man U beat both our rivals and we hold our nerve our ability to avoid defeat or even beat Chelsea will make us firm favourites for CL football

But right now there's a reason the bookies have longer odds on us than the other two - because we're not the favourites at this time

Officially bricking it now. Just get 3 points tomorrow, everything else can look after itself.

Totally agree

The old age saying of one game at a time finally makes sense to me as a Spurs fan in recent years

We'd never ever in my life time been good enough to need to take one game at a time, usually by this time our games would be rather more insignificant

3 points against Wigan is vital, they're not going to be easy and they should be fighting for their lives - hopefully their players have eyes on Wembley and day dreams or personal glory ahead of team survival

I don't care how we get those three points, we can play shit and get lucky it doesn't matter we just need to go into super Sunday ahead of the goons hoping for Man U to keep us that way

Arsenal only have an easier run in that us in the sense that they have one less game to play. In terms of potential for points we've got it better.

Chelsea have yet to show their "quality of european champions" all season, and I still don't know how they won it last season. Certainly wasn't because they were the best team in Europe.
