Chelsea and arsenal were 1/4 to qualify for the Champions League before both their games kicked off today.
yea but we're favourites for third, just nobody can see it - including the bookies it seems

What a joke of an unrealistic Spurs tinted thread

Let's hope Man U turn Arsenal over so their a point down on your predictions from the off

Alas, no. 1-1 I say, 1-1 it be. I said 2-1 for the Chelsea game, not 2-0, so that's only a goal difference change

Ho-hum…

In fairness, I, and quite a few others, called us dropping points against either Wigan or Stoke. The former has happened. It was unrealistic to expect us to win all our remaining games (as Tottenham fans). But luckily, it's still in our hands. Chelsea will hopefully lose away to United, meaning 3rd isn't out of the question. Yes we have to win away at Chelsea to do it, but (a) we're better away, (b) we're better on the counter attack against teams with high defences (c) we turn up for the big games. Not to mention Chelsea's fixture schedule is tricky and very busy.

Also, I genuinely believe the gooners luck will run out at some point. They tried to hand us 3rd last year by losing at home to Wigan, only for us to cock it up at Villa. I fancy them to lose one of their remaining games, and we have to make sure that this time we make them pay!

P.s. Defoe, a few goals would be nice before the end of the season, cheers mate ;)
