4 minutes stoppage plus 90 seconds for City's goal plus 30 seconds for the substitution.

Crazy stuff, exciting game, but crazy stuff

That ref is going to be torn apart by a frenzied Mark Hughes in the next ten minutes - the dressing rooms will look like a scene from Predator

You can complain about all the stoppage time you like, you just have to play until the ref blows the final whistle.

The whistle should have gone when Rooney's shit freekick (what was it for anyway?) was cleared. When the official was explaining to Hughes during the last moments at 3-3 where the injury time had come from, he may has well have said "we just need to keep playing until they score".

Hughes should know how it works though, he spent enough years playing there under the same rules, and didn't complain about it then.

Just to clarify, I am pleased with the result, but how obvious are the officials willing to be in order to hand points to United? They say it evens itself out over a season, but when have they ever had such controversial decisions go against them?

Owen, though, eh? Boys own stuff, what? Lovely lad, cracking smile, beautiful legs. Worth a gamble, was he? Oh my, yes. What a player. Knows where the net is, doesn't he? A likely lad and no messing. You just knew, didn't you? Of all the players on the pitch. You can never write him off, can you? Never misses, does he? Hits the onion bag every time. And what a cheeky smile he gave us, too. Odds on him coming off the bench in South Africa, Brian?

Sorry. Got carried away for a moment there. Think I'm coming down with Motsonitis.
