Amazing number of Gent fans here. Spoke to a couple who reckons they have 7000 coming. What's their average home attendance, I thought it was on a par with Wimbledon!
7000 is the equivalent to a full Cambridge United home game... That's an impressive away following!!!

Drove from MK to Watford. London Overground running fine from there. En route to Wembley now. Happy days.
I'm getting the one Southern train that seems to be on time from MK. Stops at Wembley Central so should be in stadium around 7.40ish

What a bummer. Can you claim compensation or are weather related incidents excluded ?

Haven't bought train ticket yet so no compensation.
I would have to get tube to Harrow and then play game of wait and hope for a train. No guarantee that line will be running smoothly either.
At least match tickets were only £15 in total.

Can we just completely fuck Wembley off? Fuck the place. Gent? Fucking awful result over two legs.

Next season is going to be a nightmare

Nothing to do with Wembley... It's a club mentality we really have to address this at all the top six clubs aswell.

We have to smash this hard luck typical Spurs shit

Genuinely think we'll finish mid table next season if we play there. It's going to be aids.
Mid table is optimistic. Can't you just see us losing game after game at Wembley? If you think about how we've depended on our home form this season in the league....its very worrying. There certainly won't be any European football at our first season in the new stadium.

spot on mate. Dier defends well, or Kane takes his chances and we still scrape through , in spite of Deles idiocy

I'm absolutely dreading Wembley next season. For some weird reason, it's just not conducive to a club team doing well there.

I'm still not sure why Craven Cottage isn't being touted more. Perhaps there's some logistical or scheduling issue I'm unaware of, but I think it'd be a reasonable shout.

Cons: Probably £20m less in gate receipts than Wembley
Pros: CC's 25k capacity is not dissimilar to WHL's current capacity, so it'll feel normal-ish; much cheaper to rent than Wembley; we'll almost certainly play better there than at Wembley, in a season when we really, really want to finish Top 4 to show off our new stadium in the CL; it's in London proper.

Above all, the loss in gate receipts would be pale in comparison to the losses accrued from a mid-table season.

I think the main problem is the effect it has on the away team, it just isn't an away game to them and we lose home advantage - the crowd isn't enough to change that dynamic.
