Apparently it was police advice not to put the remaining seats on sale, so as to avoid any Chelsea fans getting them.
I feel like we could see that happen quite a lot this season.

While it's true, in theory, cat c games simply won't see Wembley get close to full, meaning that there will be no chance to sell the ticket, I have a cat c game when I'm on hol, one of the few I'll look to sell and I can't see it getting bought. The flip side being that if you sell your tickets for a Cat C game, you technically make more money than if you sold it under the "face value" method... Swings and roundabouts.
It will weed out those who sell to make money off it rather than those with genuine reasons not to attend.
I don't mind it being 1/19 as I didn't buy my ticket to make money out of selling them. But I do think this is what they charge supporters as well, plus a fee to cover admin. I have a pretty good seat so I hoped to sell them for the games I could not make because of work etc. However it looks like I would only be able to sell for the top gamesThat difference in price is ridiculous and totally unjustified. Just swapping one mistake (StubHub) for another (Silly fees and sales for 1/19 of ST price, not the face value price for the game, made even worse by the fact it will only be for big games the exchange will ever be open).
Why can't you sell it on to a friend? My main concern is not how much the club (or StubHub) is making. My main concern is that I can sell our tickets and get 1/19 of the ST cost back when we can't attend a match and can't sell them on to friends.
StubHub was just impossible to deal with - either you put too much and no one went for it, or you put too little and didn't get your cost back. Unless you're an expert on the ticket-touting market, of course, which I'm not. Plus they gouged both the buyer and the seller for direct fees.
I don't know yet if the tickets will sell this way, but listing them was straightforward and I'm not being directly charged fees for the service. On the face of it, it's better for the seller than StubBloodyHub.
I just wish they hadn't cut it so fine.
If there is one thing Levy knows how to do it's maximise our income.
And if he can sell out Wembley for the Europa he will certainly do it for Chelsea in the Prem.
Arsenal sell out most games. Still full of holes virtually every game. Not mutually exclusive
Europa was a sell out against Gent coz we slashed prices to as low as a fiver. Don't believe the hype

Why do you say that? Most of lower tier is red and that will show most on TVBy looking at the amount of tickets available and the amount people have put on the ticket exchange we could be looking at quite a poor turn out for sundays game and i hope that we don't bring that into the new stadium -_-

So the season tickets have photos on them?
Highly unlikely there will be major ID checks. It will be scan the card and in you go.

Both of our tickets sold within 2 hours of being posted on the ticket exchange late this afternoon. I'm not sure what all the worry and wailing is about.
Yes, I went to the Gent game which is why I know Levy and Co know how to price a game to sell out!
That's why I also have no doubt we'll sell out on Sunday even with the middle tier at £75 and the top tier at £45 for adults.
That's a category A game that will see us bank more than £4million.
Looking at Burnley and Swansea (certainly not category A) they will follow suit but at lower prices which is why I don't understand all the doom and gloom regarding attendances.
As I say, if there is one thing you can trust Levy with it's filling a stadium to make the most cash. If people don't turn up then that's up to them but as long as the club have their money I couldn't give a monkey's.
67,000 spurs fans seem to think the pricing is ok. Why would the club reduce prices when the issue is the restricted general sale?errrrrr we're looking at over 15k empty seats for Sunday......not sure where you confidence is coming from. Gent was priced correctly...this isn't.
but I bet the Cat C games never go to exchange. Unless the club closes sections of the ground.

I'm not sure where the 15,000 is coming from as this is the current map with all the orange down to single seats (at least from the half a dozen I looked at):
