Mind you, Gooners can be complementary all they like when they've had the lion's share of the bragging rights over the last few years. Might change quickly if we finish above them.

Surely you mean when Spurger':)

it's all part and parcel of footy these days. most of our fans are just as sick...drink a few pints, you'll get over it soon enough

I know what you mean, shaved head, tattoos, earring and buckled teeth, always snarling and giving it the Billy big bollocks.

There is one who lives down the road from me and he used to shout "Yid ****" at me whenever i walked past him, or throw stuff at my car, as i drove past his house...until one day when i thought "fuck him".....

I stopped the car, walked over to him, and smacked him so hard, i knocked him clean out of his wheelchair....

i do think wham fans are wankers, to deal with the inferiority on the pitch for....ever they try and be the hardest off it.

Dont shoot me but I actually think GOONS are alright, I haven't really met any dickhead goons at all...most are deep down quite complementary about us.

Chants like that are sick to be honest from my experiences you don't get it as much up north. I think its just the london circle.
All the goon fans round my way (ironically Woolwich) are Nigerians who know nothing about arsenal past 10 years ago. When you point out to them they're a stones throw from their original grounds they think youre having a wind up. Totally ignorant.

Anybody see that 12 year old spammer kid go crazy yesterday and nearly get thrown out? I swear he was crying, and the chant of "does your mother know your here" probably didnt help.

Have to say that this has been my experience too. Obviously not met the right (or wrong) Gooners yet :)

The few West Ham fans I've met really do have a chip on their shoulder. Was talking to this geezer for about 3 hours in a pub once..getting along fine..then the conversation turned to football..me Spurs..him West Ham. Never seen someone turn into such a cock so quickly!

What were you talking about for 3 hours with a bloke without mentioning football ?????

Now thats just plain weird

It just occured to me that Wilson could have easily been affected by those chants after what happened to his brother.

Very true. Its easy to be complementary to someone who you don't see as a threat. Might also be a sign of just how smug they are too!

Every club has it's idiot fans. These days it seems to be mainly teenagers who think that they're re-enacting the 'glory days' of the seventies and eighties.

I see the usual stuff about West Ham fans having chips on their shoulders, and how West Ham are irrelevant to Spurs fans etc. This time last season I couldn't find a Tottenham fan for love nor money, now all of a sudden I can't move without someone telling how fantastic Spurs are. My Tottenham mates all went out of their way to gloat at me sunday afternoon. Had West Ham won I wouldn't have seen them for dust.

Still, we've got the pikeys tonight, so it's onwards and upwards.

......and we still managed to beat you twice. So perhaps you aren`t as relevant as you`d like to be.

Spurs V West Ham is a big game to me because my Dad supports them and so does one of my best mates, they're the games I look forward to the most every season. That being said, you have to admit that over the last few years your little pub team hasn't been anywhere near the same level as the mighty Spurs! I hope you beat Milwall so there's a chance we can beat you at least 3 times this season. :)
