------------------Lloris------------------

Dier----Dawson----Vertonghen--Davies

Townsend--------Holtby------Capoue----Eriksen

------ Lamela--Adebayor-------

Hope the ref is strong today. I can see them going down to 10 men.
Sure, I guess the first game would be a good time for Pochettino to try out a new formation for the first time. What could go wrong?

Tbf, it would really be

Dier - Daws - Verts - Davies
Capoue - Holtby
Lamela - Eriksen - Townsend
Ade

I still dont quite agree with it, but it makes more sense.

Naughton in for Dier and Bob for Ade. The CB-pairing is also up in the air imo.

Can't see Jan starting as he hasn't played a min of pre-season. That being said I'd love to see him in the team as it'd be a big confidence boost for the rest of the starting 11.

Lloris
Naughton
Jan / Dier
Younes
Davies
Capoue
Paulinho
Holtby
Eriksen
Lamela
Ade

Same only problem is the games are on at fucked hours on weekends when I'm usually getting my nob polished by a whore whilst snorting coke off of her anus at the same time of the games !
Anus? What kind of person are you? A doctor? Use an arse like the rest of us please...

At least he has lamela off the striker unlike most on here who seem determined lamela will he wide right even though he hasn't played there all summer

I reckon Jan in instead of Dier, apart from that the rest is probably spot on and what I'd like to see.

Lloris, Kaboul, Davies, Capoue, Lamela, Eriksen are all sure to start. Naughton is possibly the other certainty with Walker's fitness problems. Depends on the WC players' fitness really though. IE Jan and Dembele. No idea who Poch would pick up front to start today. Though I reckon it's Soldado as he has played the majority of pre-season due to Ade's bout of malaria. Townsend could start over Lennon, but reckon Lennon will get it.

Not feeling confident at all.

Will be a travesty to lose to this lot 4 times in a row but feels like it could happen

I think this is probably right although he may see holtby more as one of the 3 behind the striker which is where he spent most time in preseason. In that case bentaleb may start next to capoue with holtby on the bench and starting midweek in rotation with eriksen.
