I missed the game. Why didn't Dembele start. Is he still injured?
Probably because wanyama has been verygood in the more advanced role with dier protecting the defence.

Precisely. The whole bottling it is just lame one upsmanship...
it's just to get under our skin and belittle us. Mostly done out of jealousy.
It's pathetic.
Yeah if you look at those forms tables and go to the away form then you will see what we already know to be confirmed.....the only thing that needs to be improved on is our away form. Whether we are being out fought, or out thought away, or we need those few players, or changes in our game plans and adaptability, we can be surer than most that we are heading the right way.
I mean, are people saying that we don't need the new stadium? Are people saying we've got the wrong players? The wrong manager?
We finished 3rd last season. It is all but certain we'll finish 2nd this season. We went out of the FA cup in the semis to the only team who finished above us in the league. Cheer the feck up!
Watching the players looking miserable coming off the pitch at the end made me feel quite sad to be honest. Whether they were shit today or not they don't deserve this feeling of failure. They've won 9 games in a row and been the only team willing to even challenge a team who were only playing once a week with no injuries.
I hope they feel proud of themselves come the end of the season. They've been phenomenal in the league this year and not only made me believe we can win the league but actually think we will win the league in the next few years. To actually think we will and can win the league is something I could only dream of as recently as 2 years ago and not really at all in the 25 years previously.
I hope they end the season on a positive note and go away excited at what as a group they could achieve here in the coming years.
Well that is obvious but I don't think you quite understood what I said.We have been good enough to with something since 2005. Wigan and Portsmouth have won FA Cups in that time, Swansea, Birmingham have won league cups, Sevilla has won 5 Europa leagues. No one is demanding league titles but the continued excuses with the cups simply do not wash. If we continue to do what we are doing we will continue to win nothing, that is the very issue here.
Last night went as I feared to be honest. Pochettino can change the culture of the club, but part of that is the age old attitude of complacency whenever we go somewhere we expect to win. It was practically written... 9 wins, culminating with a comfortable sweeping aside of the auld enemy... Surely a Friday evening swanning over to the noisy neighbours would be a fun jolly, with a 4-0 thrashing, followed by some jellied eels and the weekend ahead to put your feet up, for fans and players alike.
It didn't seem to enter anyone's heads that west ham were looking to secure survival, had a point to prove, and just generally fucking hate us.
Another rude awakening for some of our boys. Like last season, if you want to be the best, you have to put all your effort in all of the time. One let up and that's it.

People don't get it, how many had we won in a row? 9? That is still title form right there even with one loss.
We'd simply just left ourselves with too much to do and no margin for error. The injuries in the Autumn right in the midst of our CL campaign is what has fucked us.
Why this match couldn't be played today... Friday night football is thrash..

Yep, people seemed to conveniently forget that to reel Chelsea in we would have had to win 14 games in a row, an achievement which has never been done before - even by the greatest Fergie or Wenger sides...People don't get it, how many had we won in a row? 9? That is still title form right there even with one loss.

Saying that cos it was early wee hours over here when the match started. So after the match I woke up groggy and made the start of my weekend tired..Nothing personal against you but I think we shouldn't use this excuse for the loss. There was another team that played on Friday too and won.
Too many of our players were off on the night and we have to accept that. We can do better and we know it.
Let's go and beat United to preserve our unbeaten home league record this season and secure 2nd place.

Does she need the extra income to supplement her job at Wham?
I can imagine DL rolling his eyes......she and Wham really deserve each other dont they?
agreed, its only when i see how other clubs behave that i remember how well DL runs Spurs. The Wham chairman lives near me and i see him around and about in a Rolls with his name on which i just find odd. What would she know about running a football club, honestly.
She can't go a day without having a dig at us even though we're ten times the club they are. They're all unbelievably pathetic over there.
