I don't care about the performance we just need to win this any way we can. If we don't my life is not worth living (half of the fam supports those Neanderthals)

Really think they will stop at nothing to stop Bale and with Alladyce that means it will be very physical. Hoping that Bale doesn't get injured because I think it is quite possible.
No surprise in that they will play long balls up to Carroll, so expect AVB to play Dawson and Caulker. We will have to be at our best, if we are then we will win.

This is my worry too, Bale injured with the games we have coming up would be a disaster.

We have a golden chance to go 2 points above Chelsea into 3rd place, then strengthen our gap on Arsenal next sunday.

You know what that means...lets just hope were not saying "typical spurs" this time next week

I'm really nervous. Not because its West Ham, but because of the significance of this week starting tomorrow night - what a week it is, and lets be honest it could well be, potentially, season defining or at the very least have a big bearing on how and where we finish.

There were defintely signs of Adebayor sparking against Lyon, second half etc, and I hope to see him looking hungry tomorrow night - he's such a great player when he's in the mood. They'll probably be getting after us right from the whistle, challenges fying in etc and they'll be hoping for some set pieces. If we can ride out the frantic opening 20 mins or so I think we'll take over and the more they push forward the more vulnerable they'll be.

Its their cup final so anybody thinking this will be a walk in the park is in for a shock I reckon. That said I think come the end we'll have the points, 2-1 for me.
Agree with all of this.

These next 2 games are absolutely massive. 2 wins and we are in the front seat for 3rd, with a nice gap down to 5th. Anything less than that and its going to be a real dogfight to even get 4th. This will show how far we have come and the character of the side. Come on guys, positive energy lets batter the duo of filthy scum :) Hard to make predictions because anything could happen in these 2 games, for West Ham my gut says spurs to win 2-1 with a late winner.

I feel that people are guilty of looking forward to the Scum game and forgetting about this one! The scum is a massive game, but so is every other game.

I'm worried about this one; it's their fan's biggest game of the season and they will be well up for it under the lights.

Daws will obviously start to take care of Carrol; I just hopr the players are fully focused on this one and not looking forward to the NLD!

My predictions. A few long shots in there but here goes anyway....

2-1 to spurs, 1 season ending injury, 7 cards handed out, one suspension handed out post game, massive abuse, police called in, 1 West Ham fans slips over on the police horse shit, video of said incident goes viral, 12 arrests made, Freund fires up from the touchline, 4th official believes he is relevant and steps in, 3 kebabs get thrown up (not kebab related) and a smug look on AVB's gob as he now has an in form and fired up Adebayor primed to rip the Scum apart. Top that

My main concern is our lack of goals (outside of Bale).

That said, this season we have been able to win games where we go in at 0-0 half time, the other manager thinks he can win it, so adjusts to a more attacking formation, then we hit them. Not pretty, but it's been effective.

W.Ham 1 (85th minute) - Spurs 2 (60th and 65th minutes)

I'm actually pretty interested in seeing how Dembele responds to that huge goal against Lyon.

Maybe he will show a bit more willingness to take the shot when he gets into those advantageous positions.

I think the match is going to be really close. It looks like a signature "Trap Game" in my mind, but I'm hoping this is a Spurs team of new and not like the ones we've grown so accustomed to.

The players will be up for this every bit as much as the fans. It's obvious to all that Chelsea are faltering and we have a chance to compete with them for 3rd. After last season the players and AVB will want to finish above Chelsea but more importantly guarantee CL football.

That doesn't mean we will win every game but I'm sure we will see them push every team we play very hard.

Problem with these games is, if anything, Ade gets too pumped up and seems to momentarily lose what little common sense he normally has.
He seems to only have two settings for motivation....either not showing up at all or alternatively wildly kicking everything within reaching distance. Here's hoping AVB can coax him into some middle ground.

Ah man. I felt this way last year when we approached the massive week.

Then we lost a few in a row, my world crumbled as arsenal overtook us and I spent a week under my duvet eating ice cream.
