I watched the Hobbit the other day. 2 hours 40 mins long.

I boo'd throughout the whole thing.

ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED.

Oh great. You've probably destroyed Peter Jackson's confidence now. If the third Hobbit is shit, I'm blaming you.

Yeah I guess so. The dynamics of the Lane can be odd. My seats are in the West Stand lover tier (block 9) and there seems to be a lot of seats there that are used by overseas supporter clubs and business so its different people all the time. As a result the atmosphere in that section can be poor.

I had a right moan at some people in Spurs kits sat in front of me at the Liverpool game who were taking photos and videos of the Liverpool team celebrating goals............I asked them if they were Spurs fans why the hell would they want a video of that
They were probably over-enthusiastic, first time, tourist fans who will capture everything. Or worse, non-fan tourists who get caught up in the hype and buy a kit. Hope you didn't go too hard on them. What did they say?

I think if we lose playing good football, this will soon subside. There is no way anyone can stop the booing. There will always be some one that feels it's their rights to express their concerns/displeasure/unhappiness by booing or any other means that makes them feel heard

to be honest they ignored me!! I said it quite politely too. I don't really like the block I sit in and would like to move but not sure how easy that is

I live in New Zealand so don't hate me for my lack of knowledge on the situation, but could the positive fans start chanting against the negative ones? Eg. They boo at half time, they boo at full time, Tottenham Hotspur, we've got some shit fans... Etc.

obviously a lot better chant than that but you get my drift?

What?! That was a great film. You should be ashamed.

Ha ha, only joking, it was alright actually. Better than the first one.

Just wanted to make the point that I don't even boo films at the cinema (does anyone do that?) and that's something where you expect to get entertained. We go to Spurs because we love the fuckers.

LOL, I only asked because they love their cameras. Either way, I'd say they didn't understand what you were saying. You think of that?

which is probably why they ignored me!

We do have some lads that sit near us who are from the Belgium Supported Club and travel over for every home match. Respect to them!!

We need to let the boo'ers know that they are not backed by the fans and that they won't be tolerated.:finger:

The way I see it is simple. Our job on match days is to support the team no matter what. The better we support the better the chance of a positive result. :singing: It is also our job to rile the opposition with the intent that they play worse and get frustrated.

If you're booing Spurs :asshat:, making our players frustrated  and taking away their confidence to express themselves  then you are essentially doing the away fans job for them . Further, I would say that you sir, are a traitor.:pompous:

Spoilt by one year in the CL and now we have the divine right to be there again. We don't, modern football, modern fans.

Only a billionaire with cash to splash will do for them.

I hate it and there is nothing you can do, it is the rot of the modern game.
This is so funny. You, one of the most virulent anti-Sherwood posters here... Priceless. I sincerely hope you see the irony.

What winds me up the most, is that ones that boo are usually the ones that make fuck all noise to support the team the whole game. They are doing the exact opposite of what a supporter is actually meant to do...

They're not booing - they're saying 'boo-urns'.

Change our unrealistic demands, I mean expectations.

Not even Utd fans are booing when until yesterday they were behind us in the league. We were ahead on where we were last season and have been booing and half time / full time whistle that happens when we aren't winning.

In my opinion this will not change for a long time.

Come on the U21's!!!
But the've not had 30 years of false expectations and the've had the odd champions league triumph to ease the pain, where as we are the perennial under achievers, legends and soft centred southerners.
