What game will we be out of reach against Woolwich?

When will it be confirmed we finish above them

Wenger just confirmed Ramsey, Squilachi and Coqulan are out next week. who else is missing?

Their big German CB, mertashite , although that's definitely unfortunate for us.

I'm sure they'll line up as such:

Sirwanker

Sagna
Vermaelen
Koscielny
Gibbs

Song
Arteta

Walcot/Oxlade C
Rosicky
Gervinho

RVP

Koscielny was the one that I was hoping would be out but it sounds like he's going to be ok. Bit of a bummer because he's their best defender atm.

Whilst Koscielny has improved I think there is still a mistake or five in him.

Its the usual, make sure we defend well against RVP and dont offer him any half chances and the rest of that team we can very much beat.

I agree, providing our big players are fit. I'm sure Modric will be fully recovered, but Ade and Benny are an absolute must...and VDV would be a huge loss also.

Coquelin out could mean their only decent defender Vermalin will play left back, I hope Lennon plays to keep him busy.

I so want to predict something in this thread, but having been a Spurs lover for 51 years, I just can't take finishing above them for granted even atm. Ask me again in 12 games time.

I'm taking a very passive view of this. Quiet satisfaction with our progress is the order of the day for me.

The time for celebration will occur when/if we are more unassailable than we are now - there's still a long way to go.

If we win at the Emirates then I'll start believing. It's a 6 pointer though - the wrong result and we'd be a little too close for comfort given our forthcoming fixtures

Yup. A loss at the Emirates tightens it up again particularly with tricky games coming up against United and Chelsea (and Everton away). I think they may fall apart after the last week or so but it's certainly too early to start talking about when they'll mathmatically be out of reach.

It will tighten things up if they were to beat us, however when we play United at home they go to Anfield. They havn't got an easy run of games to capitalise on if we do start dropping points over the coming weeks.

Arsenal will have to turn things round massively to have any chance of catching us.

I have been a fan for many, many years - and I think it is done. even if they do manage to beat us, they have a difficult run of games to play, and I cannot see them altering their form/injury list/shittiness to the extent where they won't get turned over in a few of them - which will mean we will have to lose something like 5 or 6 (or even more) out of our last 13 and I really cannot see that happening.

I'm looking upwards, not down.

In any case, I also think we will beat them.

You'd think a fan of so many years would know Spurs and indeed the Goons a little better than to be counting chickens so soon

Seems I voted "with four games left" can't wait for the oncoming Gooner collapse that will make that come true

It took them all of 3 weeks to reel our wannabes in, how dated does your post seem now even though it was written just over 3 weeks ago
