Had a look on rawk, expecting some gold. But they are being very unrawklike, a lot think it'll be a draw which is reasonable considering their form against the top teams but they are worried. If we can withstand the first 20 minutes, I think their nervousness with transfer to the players, they could be there for the taking if we show up.
In my time I've come to realise that if there is one team that can rejuvenate another teams season then it is Spurs - we are the Viagra of football clubs, and that makes me as nervous as a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs!

Well he had two halves of each kit, pity to let half of them go to waste when he could look utterly embarrassing twice as much!

I think we all know what he should have done with all four halves!

If they play Lucas at CB and we don't accept the massive gift then they will be crowing over us.

To be honest mate to me it will only make a small difference, if we approach the game with the right mentality and a good flow and structure to our game then I don't think it will matter what CB's they have playing, but that's quite a big 'if'. For instance if you look at the City and United away games, when in both matches we were performing better and probably looking to gain 3 points, with the way we ended up performing it wouldn't have really mattered who they had at CB. We created next to nothing at OT and at the Etihad the only 2 chances we had we just happened to score from but created next to nothing other than that, didn't apply any real pressure in either matches at all. What concerns me is like said, our record there, our 4-2-3-1 in which we've seen a lot of lacklustre displays with this season, our inability to play what I think is our best team in our best setup and most importantly, Liverpool's shit run which just sets up a win against us.

If we had Vertonghen and Rose fit gaining us our ability to play the 3 at the back formation with maybe Lamela coming back to make the bench too I'd be feeling more optimistic.

Agreed but Liverpool also have defensive mistakes aplenty in them, and Lucas increases those odds which hopefully might counter the issues we'll have creating chances if we're as turgid as we've been for the last few games..

Yeah they do, just hope we can impose ourselves enough in the slightest to capitalise. The likes of Eriksen, Kane and Alli all in particular need to be counted for, if they go hiding I can't see it being pleasurable to watch.

Yes the guy is a massive deluded nob but he don't deserve that shit.

Same old Chelsea, they always seem to take things beyond banter and into a nasty malicious level.

They only nicked his hat ffs.

If they'd taken his water bottle as well now that would have been taking it too far.

He only had his little hat nicked, they didn't beat him half to death or steal his car keys. If he's going to hang around outside the Bridge that near to a mob of the scummiest fans in all of football what exactly does he expect?

Plenty of grounds you don't even dare wear your colours, let alone £600 worth of Goon club shop absolute tat

This thread would be absolute gold if we beat them at Anfield! :D

Can see us really struggling with Mane vs Davies though. Rose being injured hurts us so much.

Liverpool won't be setting up with 5 at the back and 3 in front of them to try to stifle us like Sunderland and Boro. They will have to come out and play and I think that will suit us. Their only form of defence is attack. If Lucas plays at CB it suits us IMO.

It didn't suit us very well against City. I must say that I'm quite worried about this game.

Haha yeah true I get what your saying but it's still mass bullying.

I dunno maybe it's because it's Chelsea and I can't stand them, but it just seems a bit more than just a 'laugh' IMO.

Having said that and having seen Ty a few times on AFTV, no doubt he in some ways brought the ridicule on himself....

There was little wrong with Saturdays performance other than being wasteful with chances we had. Had we'd been more clinical, that game could and should have been 3 or 4

I'd expect us to control a home game against Boro. Playing well we would have made more clear cut chances. It's not as if their keeper had a worldie, despite controlling the game, I don't thing we made enough genuine chances. Just my opinion.

I think we did control the game and we did create genuine chances. Two guilt edge misses by Kane and Alli stand out.
