Some are getting it on Arsemania:

>>
Saw a couple videos on AFTV about there not being a power shift. Spurs may not have titles but there definitely has been a power shift, some people are just in denial.

Last year, it was a miracle that we ended above them. This year, 17 points off them. We havent beaten them in the league since Pochettino took over. We've drawn all those league games at the Emirates, but theyve beaten us 2 out of 3 at their ground. We've been well and truly mugged off. Its embarrassing.
>>
So how's everybody feeling today?
>>
Deflated and bad

I stated on another thread, if Totts win on Friday they will be 1 point behind Chelsea and a whopping 20 ahead of us. We finished above them last year!!

Did I hear Wenger say that he doesn't start the season to finish above Tottenham, well he sure made it this season then.
>>
Can we let this thread sink please. It's masochism at this point.

Exactly. And the posh spice song back when Beckham played for United.

That's how low I am :D

Posh Spice ain't so posh. Nouveau riche yes but a common tartlet with a millionaire dad made good.

Went to the local comprehensive in Cheshunt with the other riff raff bimbo baby chicks of her generation.

Known as 'bum face' at school due to having had a skin graft from arse to boat race.

She was only just starting out with DB and they pulled into a local petrol station in Cheshunt .. My daughter was about 15 T the time and got excited to see him and went all schoolgirls ... Posh Spice cut her off with a lovely put down ..

It's amazing how they seem to think they were better than us last year, when they only finished above us because we stopped functioning once there was nothing to play for. If they weren't so deluded, being so far behind us now wouldn't be such a surprise.

Spurs will always Spur. Always. Even during their 'best era for decades' they win absolutely nothing and fall apart whenever it really matters.

There's a genuine culture of 'almost' that runs through the club, a culture of 'nearly'. It's incredible really.

Goodness knows how they'll look next season playing at Wembley every other game - their results there are just awful, as seen this season in Europe, both in the CL and when they were dumped out of the EL by fecking Gent.

The good thing is Kane and Alli will now be realizing that if they want to win trophies, they'll need to move to a bigger club.

Would love to see either of them in this United side, and I really do think we will sign one of them this Summer or next.

You gotta think this is Spurs last season where they will have best chance of the league. Next season Utd, City will be back to spending big and we will also buy big. Last year Utd, City and ourselves were poor so they had the chance to challenge Leicester. This season again they've come close, but the title is ours to lose. Next season will be very tough for Spurs, and they don't have the money to spend big to challenge again either.

Patronizing wanker alert:

Chelsea will steam roll Everton and Arsenal will draw with Spurs.

I'm not against Spurs winning the league, it'd be nice to see one of the smaller sides win it for the second year in a row since we obviously won't.
>>
What is this noise about Walker, then?

City offering market wages starting to get to him? Will be the first of many. Fully automated sprinkler coverage, VR tours and a NHL franchise will only take you so far.

At the end of the day paying 50% of what comparable players are making at other teams won't be enough.
>>
Last year 3rd, this year 2nd, next year...Nah, won't happen (if United and City strengthen as expected).
>>
Pochettino is such a good manager.
>>
It's kind of amusing that we robbed LvG off of them isn't it?
>>
On course to get 85+ points. They're making us look bad. It's actually very depressing.
>>
The higher they finish in the league, the more attention they bring themselves. Players like Alli, Kane, Walker etc are beginning to attract attention from clubs who are more than willing to meet their transfer evaluation and exceed it if necessary. Levy will come under immense pressure when the likes of City, United and Chelsea come knocking. Also heard Real are interested in Alli as well.
>>
Best team in the league to watch. Amazing.

Didn't think they will be able to sustain their form from last season. They have continued to grow and have become a force in the league. That too on the base of some home grown lads and some very astute buys. Credit to Poch for taking them up a level. Wonderful young manager. Hope we can get him before one of Real, Bayern or Barca lay their hands on him. Looks like a Manchester United manager. Some one who can make players better, rather than someone who always needs better players.
>>
Spurs benefit a lot from the crises through which both Manchester clubs are going. Both United and City are in a process of rebulding their teams and their style of play. And Wenger is on his last legs, he's a dinosaur.

In short, I don't think that Spurs have a big potential to grow. They will be exposed again in the CL next season. The fact that they are so successful in the PL means only that the PL lacks proper top teams right now. Which was evident from Leicester winning the title last season. One season can't change things immediately.
>>
I'm not going to lie, I'm envious of their team and their football.
>>
Let's get things into perspective here. As 'good' as they have been and similarly as 'poor' as we have been at times this season, we'll still have had a better season than them. That's the bottom line!

It amazes me the lack of football knowledge some fans have. TBF it is only now the pundits have realised what we have built. Conte has known for some time and made sure his players knew as well.

I've heard somewhere that he is and that he drives a school bus? Anyway, apparently he wears all that gear 24/7 as well. I'll ask my mum as she runs a college for autistic people. Maybe she can watch some of his videos or something...

He's harmless enough.
