Its this quote from Arsemania that gets me

"Out of nothing, a goal. Good goal to be fair. But testament to what Im saying... this team isnt special. They are just well drilled with moments of magic."

WTF!! Isn't that what distinguishes a good side from the ordinary ones. Do these chimps ever read what they post before pressing the submit button

From Rawk during our match, a mixture of jealousy, delusion and damnright nastiness...it's beautiful.

On the Shelvy sending off

Shelvey is absolutely dreadful. Alli is absolute scum.

Stupid from Shelvey but Alli is an absolute fanny.

If your gonna stamp on his ankle don't just do it gently

I won't lie, I would have done that on a **** like Alli and have done a fair number of times playing. Unfortunately for you Jonjo you play at the top level! Christ.

Someone will absolutely break Alli one day, and it'll be quite pleasing to watch

Remember when Liverpool fans thought Shelvey would lose the rough edges and mature into a top class midfielder?....what a weekend that was

Boss talent. horrible twat.

0-1

****

Spurs are very well organised. Great shape to the team.

**** scores

excellent goal

Really good ball from Eriksen for that goal. He's an assist machine.

They'll challenge for the league again, best defence in the league and one of the best attacks.

Dele Alli doing what he does best, winding people up and scoring goals.
Anyone on here rate him yet?

0-2

Shambles, nothing club.

Someone needs to put Alli out of action for a few months here, might as well.

They're playing against a promoted side with 10 men. They'll challenge for nothing, like every year

They are annoyingly efficient, even when they have to rotate, a lot of credit has to go to the manager.

Spurs are going to be up there again. Quality team. Great balance between defence and attack which i wish we had.

they'll be in top 3 and challenging.

Eriksen would be a great signing for Barca

Shelvey isn't the difference between these two sides...once Spurs got going the gulf in quality has been ridiculous....Newcastle would have lost with or without The Hills Have Eyes

1-1 for me.

Strongly hoping for a bottle job from Spurs. Make it happen, Rafa

Shelvey to get a yellow, nailed on!

Hope Spurs rip them to shreds tbh

Benitez has never lost a Premier League home game against Tottenham.

I might be extremely behind but spurs have replaced Kyle walker with Kyle walker-peters?

Daniel Levy has the cloning operation fully operational. Harry Kane-Stevens can't be far behind.

Spurs bossing the possession after a good start by Newcastle.

Can't really be a better situation for a young fullback to walk into than to have Alderweireld and Vertonghen next to you. Those two just ooze calm and confidence.

Nice play from Spurs. Newcastle parking the bus at the moment

Eriksen is a great striker of the ball. Has a fantastic weight of pass on him. Very elegant footballer.

If it hadn't been offside it would have been penalty to Newcastle here.

This match is awful so far.

Just noticing how tiny the managers' technical areas are at Newcastle. Ironic really, given the manager.

we don't want Spurs to win now do we?

Eriksen has to be one of the best set-piece takers in the league.

Spurs dire to watch so far, playing slow stodgy possession like it's 2012

22 minutes of the season it took Alli to get involved in something cnutish

Oh look, Alli being a prick

He was right for once. That was a very dangerous tackle. ( a Gooner )

Yeah, the replay didn't look great. Probably a restrained reaction by his standards.

Why is Danny Rose not playing for Spurs today?

Spurs are looking very lethargic. Still, plenty of time for them to kick into gear.

Spurs have been awful so far.

Spurs always tend to start the season slowly, tbh.

Tottenham's midfield isn't doing much for all they're hyped up to be. Terrible game to watch.

You think? They're pretty much camped in the Newcastle half. They're doing the usual slow grind.

Walker-Peters looks decent so far.

Bit of a shocking challenge from Kane, that scissor action really took the player out. Gets away with a booking.

Really? Got the ball. Let's go back to the 90's.(y)

Bryan Robson was applauded for said tackle.

Spurs going for the Liverpool approach from yesterday. Injuring as many defensive players as possible to try and get off the mark.

we will see a red card soon. probably a Newcastle player.

Spurs really are one paced. They're a great team, but really do lack that injection of pace up front. Been and issue for a while now in my opinion.

Ben Davies is really poor.

Spurs are a bit dire to watch when Dier plays in Midfield.

Carrick esque ball from Vertonghan there.

Shelvey clearly stamps on him.

Correct decision. Once of pratt, always a pratt. Bye Jonjo.

Ali is a prick, but that was scum from Shelvey.

Red? At worst that's a yellow. And Alli has been a pest all game. Edit: OK, saw that again. Red. What an idiot.

Guess who has scored.

Lovely goal.

Eriksen really is great player

Eriksen again with the assist. Lovely player.

Eriksen is so good. Probably my favourite player in the Premier League right now

No one better at doing that than Alli. Superbly well timed run and great finish. Fantastic ball by Eriksen. Similar to Casemiro's goal against us.

Alli really is a cnut, but I'd love if he was our cnut.

We need to sign Eriksen tomorrow.

No wonder Barca have him as a backup option for Coutinho. I actually like him more.

Game against Chelsea will be interesting. Conte pretty much did Poch's team talk a few weeks ago.

Why is everybody only realising that Eriksen is a class act?

Eriksen's running the game for Spurs. This is how I want Mourinho to play Mata

Game over. NUFC relegated

I'd take Ali over Pogba, personally. But we have Paul now and that's that.

Spurs are our rivals.

No they are not. dippers, Man City are rivals. Spurs are challengers

Spurs are so annoyingly clinical. Feels like they score most of the chances they create. A far cry from us.

Under Poch, Spurs are something of a boa constrictor. 60 minutes of being muscled and pressed and squeezed to death, and then once you are too tired to fight back well - just swallowed whole. :D

Oh dear! - some Spurs fans are NOT happy at hearing that Martial will NOT be playing for them next season. They WANT WANT WANT, and stamp their feet and get all huffy because DADDY is not giving them what they WANT WANT WANT.

But DADDY can't give them what they WANT WANT WANT because - and contrary to what they've led to believe - DADDY has to deal with other daddies, some of whom couldn't give a stuffed parrot for what DADDY'S little children WANT WANT WANT.

So DADDY'S little children will have to wait until Xmas for their next batch of shiny new toys, even tho' they got tired of the last lot before the end of January had arrived and soon WANTED WANTED WANTED more.

Omg the fucking irony!

I think that we can all agree that GloryHunter07 is indeed a Full Member .

So in summary, Spurs are terrible, except for all their excellent players and good play, and Ali sucks. except for all the goals and assists he gets (oh, and he sucks, but I still want him at our club.)

Got it!

Arsemania: Some of the comments are staggering considering they conceded 3 at home to Leicester.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Isaac Hayden is starting for Newcastle. He'll fck them up. (ex Arsenal)

Academy player Kyle Walker is debuting for Spurs. Hope he has a mare. (n)

If we lose the league this year, hope it'll be to either Klopp or Pep. 2 managers like Wenger who appreciate attacking flair, entertainment and skill. (IF?)

Benitez has always been underrated as a manager. Think that Newcastle side can cause Spurs some problems.

Spurs are notorious slow starters to the PL under Poch - won't be surprised if they drop points here

Replay shows him onside. That should have been a penalty for NU. :poop:

Notice how Spurs do not play any line break passes from the back, other than balls over. I wonder if this is part of their safety first strategy or because they dont have the ability to break through the middle.

Dele Alli,, still a ****

His face is really punchable. (so is yours)

Spurs defence still impressive.

Newcastle handling Spurs well here. For all that media hype, Im actually reminded once again. Spurs are overrated.

Spurs are such dirty tean

Harry Kane on a yellow for an ugly tackle that's injured the player. The Chelsea ref from yesterday would have given him a red.

Refreshing to see a Spurs player getting his just desserts from the ref(Kane's yellow)

That was a full scissor challenge tht has sent the player hobbling off the pitch with what looks like a twisted knee. That should have been a RED.

If any Arsenal player made that tackle he'd be off

NU loses 2 players due to injury in 30 minutes of play. Fūcking Spurs playing like filthy orcs.

Media ignoring how filthy Spuds are, ******* cucks

Spurs is the new golden team, they get away with everything because they want them to win.

Another foul from Ali. Still no card.

Spuds well and truly neutered at this point, keep up the good work toon, should be up a goal already bar for poor officiating, Spuds will be relying a lot on that this season imo. (this is the guy who said that Utd were getting Dier and it would snowball into us losing Walker, Rose, Ali and Kane this transfer window)

Its watching games like this, where you realise how important it is to be a good footballing side going forward. To deal with situations like these. Newcastle have completely nullified the "mighty Spuds" in this half. Matched them tactically, and could have taken the lead themselves.

Well done Shelvey, dickhead

Filthy Tottenscum DNA.

Proof positive PL is a fraud

Low act from Alli getting Shelvey sent off like that. Going to be strechered off one of these days.

Shelvey is an idiot! Now Richie is on a yellow for a tackle on ALli, while all Alli's fouls went unpunished.

Feels so odd watching Pochettino's Tottenham. They're a very good side.

Don't think they have the attacking flair of the other competitors, they require on moments of quality from Kane/Alli/Eriksen, but the flip side of that is that they're so solid and tactically astute.

The Spurs love in on here is making me sick. They are dreadfully average.

Very good because they are well drilled, sprinkled with three quality players capable of making a difference. Other than that they are bland, that is why they will amount to nothing in Europe once again this year, and will need to drop out there to make headway in the Premier League. Overrated.

Out of nothing, a goal. Good goal to be fair. But testament to what Im saying... this team isnt special. They are just well drilled with moments of magic.

cutting edge goal . ekrisen has dangerous delivery but dele alli the ****, nonfootballer but soemhow good positioning.

spurs are the new yanited

Alli is their Walcott. Shocking footballer

****ing annoying to admit it but Spurs are really quite good.

Wish we had Dembele. Xhaka/Dembele CM would monster the PL (Xhaka!!)

Wanking over Spuds again who have been handed this game ffs

Cue the Spuds love in for winning a fraud game

Tbf pochetino has done a incredible job with Tottenumb

What a truly pathetic bunch of deluded ****s. By some distance the most melt muggy fans in the football league - other teams have more delusion (Pool), more arrogance (United), more vile characters and sentiment (Chelsea) but no team can match the galaxy-spanning levels of meltdom that are inherent in so many Gooner ****s.

I know sometimes the hate doesn't run too thick here for them for some reason but I still truly detest Arsenal and all of their muggy players and fans. A complete embarrassment to the world of football. Like if David Cameron was a football club or something.
