That's what Liverpool should be worried about, they didn't play in Europe last season and they just about scraped into Europe because Arsenal did play in Europe and were awful. They could be down to fifth or sixth this season. If Salah didnt play today they would have done nothing all game.

It would have been ok for Mou and UTD if we had drawn or got a small score result but the fact that we dicked on Pool has shown they were far too negative against Pool last week.


Edit TBF we we created a lot of chances we hit the bar, Son fluffed to put Kane through and that was all in the first 20-25 minutes before Salah scored. And they had one shot on target last week. And they were taking the piss out of us mid-week for being negative against RM, which was nonsense we had four shots on target. Kane denied twice by Navas.

Nothing to do with Liverpool, but I was chatting to a United fan at work on Friday and he was full of admiration for Spurs. Said he watches a lot of our games as he enjoys the way we play. Seems pretty knowledgeable about our squad and hopes we keep it together.

The only annoying thing was when I compared Winks to Carrick and he said there’s a lot more to Carrick’s game than just passing. Had to remind him who they signed him from!

To be fair, what it does do, is take the stat that shows Lolerpool had more shots on target than us and show that of those shots on target they had less than 1 single clear cut chance on goal where you'd bank on them scoring.
