Fuck me, turns out it wasn’t just my “personal agenda” after all.
Go figure...
Yes but none of them are saying he's the worst technical footballer they have seen for the club.

I don’t think I said that either. Might have said “in the current team” at some point, or “one of” but I’m pretty sure I never said technically the very worst I’ve ever seen for Spurs.
And even if I did, the reason they aren’t is because they’ve been to Div 3 and back. They’ve bound to have seen worse.

Didn’t Pep compare him to Lahm the other day? Perhaps deliberately exaggerating his ability to big him up but still, high praise. He’s obviously more than happy with him.
Walker has his faults, but is there a better right back in the world? I don’t think so.Yes perhaps. He clearly does have faults that were on show on Wednesday, principally a timidity to cross at times and lapses at the back. But we all knew that, and to be honest City as a team were a horror show (Otamendi was worse than Walker) and we all know (as does Pep clearly) what he brings to the side.
I'd still have him over Trippier or Aurier.
Joshua Kimmich.Walker has his faults, but is there a better right back in the world? I don’t think so.
He was my first thought. If he isn’t better now, he certainly will be very soon. Is his long term future at full back do we think?Joshua Kimmich.

Agreed. Far more quality on the left hand side with Marcelo, Alaba and Sandro. Rose was nearing that level before his injury. I’d argue all 4 of those were better than the best right backs around atm.Kimmich is class and Carvajal is a very solid all round fullback. There does seem to be a shortage of quality right backs nowadays though, probably why Walker is considered one of the best currently. Long gone are the days of Lahm, Zanetti and Cafu.
Yes you did and we don't need to have been to Div 3 or 1 and back to have seen worse right backs (Austin, Pamarot, Nethercott off the top of my head) . It's just your usual absurd exaggeration. Own it.
I'm pretty sure I never said Walker's was technically the worst player Ive ever seen at Spurs, can you find where I said that.

The cracker that I do remember is "he is a shit footballer with fast legs."
Walker has his faults, but is there a better right back in the world? I don’t think so.
It was a long time ago. But I remember you saying it.
I've said plenty of shit about Walker, and I own it all. but mostly what I said was his technique goes to shit under pressure at either end.
Either way, I'm clearly not the only one. It's not a coincidence that ManC fans are now saying some almost identical things. At least it disproves the bullshit BC bias theory.
But that's the point isn't it? No one disagrees with his faults but these categorical, unqualified statements are patent bollocks. If his technique went to shit at either end, how would he have been part of a number of relatively (or supremely) successful teams? How would he have gottten assists?
The reason people believe you have an agenda is precisely because you state rubbish like this and therefore don't require me to dig out a post from 2011. At least you're consistent.
It is interesting how the opinion of other fans is worth something to you when you think it accords with your view.
