He is trying to win free kicks, not hurt people
I don't think it's anything to do with his intentions. It is dangerous, and I think he'll get called up on it soon. One of the worst things in football is being in the air and having your legs taken out from under you. You have no control of your body and can land on anything. It was always especially bothersome to me thinking I'd come down and hurt a knee or something.

I get people saying it's dangerous but what do we suggest he does? Standing jump and get wiped out by momentum or bottle it and give the opponent a free header? This isn't some standing header situation with him backing in this is players coming at him at speed on two occasions

He still knows what he is doing. You can do a lot of things without the intention of hurting someone but you still know they may get hurt in that situation.

Today that was dangerous and i think he kind of ran towards the Arse player then fell... it was dangerous... perhaps against Lalana i can see both sides but not todays one.
Christ you sound like a crying gooner.

Lets be honest we all know what he is doing - lets not sugarcoat it. I have a slight problem in that it is quite dangerous and if someone else was doing it we would also be berating them
He's not malicious, he's not trying to hurt people, he's not doing it so people get hurt.

I mean, tell me what he or any other player is meant to do when another player is coming at him at high speed in the air?

I have no issue with any player using their body to win free kicks. If this wasnt Kane today there wouldnt even be a conversation about it.

Its not new, It’s been going on since the dawn of football, but for some reason it’s now a big deal and must be stopped.
It’s a load of old bollocks, and is just the latest stick to beat Kane with by other teams fans.

It is a long season. We will 100% not play like this in every game. We’ve done it in 3 out of 11 so far. There’s 7 more games this month for a start and we will have to rotate in those meaning we will have to change it up.

What was it like watching that second half in the ground? I’m usually more relaxed when at the match, not to say I wasn’t today because I didn’t think they were good enough to score, but it was a hard watch.

no we have done it against Burnley, WBA, Brighton, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal. In fact the last two games he has taken off attacking players and put two more defenders on leaving us with just to attacking players on the pitch. I really don’t get the fantasy that some indulge in of thinking Jose will change. Just accept it and enjoy winning or like me long for the day when we might play decent football again. But neither comes around often and it is way easier to play defensive football. I have nothing but respect for the players and love Cheering them on. Nice today not to hear some of the usual idiots that spend the whole game slagging off players. But most around me groaned at the late defensive subs ... we have no choice but to put up with the fare we are delivered by JM. Bread and water you can live on but a roast dinner and glass of red wine is so much better

We're top of the league, haven't conceded a (legitimate) league goal since shipping 3 to West Ham, and Chelsea barely came out of their own shell last week for fear of being picked off by us.

We've got the best goal difference in the league, and you're moaning? Christ on a bike

He definitely isnt trying to hurt people - Kane is hardly the malicious dirty type we all know that. Ive not even suggested he is there to hurt people because he clearly isnt.

He is obviously trying to win a free kick and i guess rightly so, for the team and to relieve pressure etc. Todays instance wasnt someone coming at him i recall, he kind of ran towards the player who was about to jump...

This is just my view

I'm happy to put up with being top of the league and taking points off of our rivals. ?

Kane winning a free kick at the edge of our box. Arsenal player jumps for the ball Kane doesn't and just stands his ground so the Arsenal player goes flying.
Had this from West Ham and Chelsea mates...well their sons to be fair...pointed out to them that if he played for them it would be classed as brilliant play....bitter fucks....love it...
