The Whammers haven’t bought a left back yet, so they still only have Cresswell who cost them in Europe last year. The only cover they have bought for Rice and Soucek is a Championship player.

Udogie (who they were interested in) Perisic, Lenglet and Bissouma - all would have been huge signings for them.

They were claiming Scamacca was better than Watkins the other day - even though Watkins is Prem proven.

Bottom line, I am absolutely certain that they will regress this season and we finish at least 10 points above them.
If we signed scamacca, even as a back up, we’d be saying he’s better than Watkins. Watkins has had a handful of good games and looked to be a bright light before fading back out… Scamacca could be really good in the prem - hence our interest.
No guarantees though.

I’d Kane doesn’t throw some gun fingers in the air next time he scores, I’ll be very disappointed.

Blimey, not that I'm against it but I'm intrigued how a gang of French rappers decided to become Spurs fans?
What's the story behind this?

Is our international reach finally growing more respectable?

Probably just rate Kane.

Drill always gets footballers in the lyrics.

It’s a genre of music. Born out of Chicago originally and now all over U.K. and Europe.
Is that not just rap?
I'm a big hip-hop head from the late 80's onwards, have I really got so old that I've completely missed new genres?!

Yes, it appears that I have.

Happens to the best of us buddy. I haven’t updated my iPod since 2010.

  • The performance needs to be better than Today or we'll lose.
  • Conte will set up his team exactly like Everton did today. They'll just be better drilled defensively and Kane/Son and Kuleveski will punish us if we give them the space Evertons front line got.
  • Sadly see a loss here. No Alonso to bail us out as well. Hopefully we can fall back on our luck with Spurs
  • Spurs have a huge mental block against us, it's easy to forget we were in horrific form in January while they were in their Conte honeymoon period yet despite that beat them on every occasion despite our form aswell Sarr, Lukaku and Kepa playing all three games. Also i feel Conte will pay us more respect than our form/fitness levels deserve, he played two fullbacks on the wing in this fixture last season.
  • It would be a huge setback to lose this game
  • The last time we won the league we lost a big London derby early in the season and went a record win streak after, so a defeat can have a good affect.
  • Don't see us losing to the Spuds at home, yet they are on form, suggests a draw.Hopefully Kovacic is fit for Spurs
  • They look good going forward but still unconvincing at the back. I suspect they will start the game with Conte's counterattacking approach. We ought to get some chances against their defence but we need to take them. I agree with those that see Spurs as currently more match fit, and I would have preferred this game a little later in the season. I know we have a good record against them, but I reckon it will be a draw. That wouldn't be a terrible result if so, although it is always great to beat Spurs.
  • 2-0 to the Chelsea
  • As a worrywart I'd take a draw here.
  • It will be a tough game and we will need to be much better. Spurs seem fitter than us as well thanks to Conte’s pre season.
  • I am concerned about it, Conte is a top, top manager when focused
  • Kulu was fantastic, bentacur looks very good. 50m for this two was a bargain.
  • Kulusevski in particular looks very good and needs to be well contained. That being said I watched some of their game against Saints and their defense still isn't convincing.
  • Kane drops into the space between the opponent's defence and midfield to receive the ball and link up play, which he often does really well. We need to make sure he doesn't have that space to operate in.

They sound like proper 4chan dickheads

From Shed End:

• It’s amazing how many pubs there are in England. Far too many for my liking.

• It’s too easy to get drunk nowadays.

• I paid £6.50 for a pint last week. Disgusting. Alcoholics must be rich.

• Well not really, Super Tennents costs £1.29

• It’s Tennents Super, not Super Tennents you stupid ****. It’s not an alcoholic super hero.

• It’s superhero not super hero, you dumb fuck.

• Guys, we’re going off topic. Getting back on track, gambling is bad too.

• Not as bad as drugs though.

• Can’t believe cannabis is illegal but alcohol isn’t

* Can’t believe alcohol is legal but cannabis isn’t.

• Same thing, dick.

• You’re the same thing.

• Your mum’s the same thing.

• Guys, guys… you don’t want this thread locked do you. I can’t imagine Rod and Ashley&Cole will be pleased with this.

• Such a wannabe mod. ****.

* Have we got a match this weekend?
Your mum’s the same thing!:LOL:

The old classic comeback!
