Toronto FC has come to an agreement to terminate the contract of midfielder Rohan Ricketts, the Major League Soccer club announced Wednesday.
Ricketts, 26, signed with Toronto FC in April 2008.
The Englishman had four goals and four assists in 27 games last season for the club but this season had found himself mostly on the bench.
Ricketts appeared in 12 games in 2009 but only three as a starter. He had no goals or assists in 316 minutes of play.
He leaves Toronto with 39 appearances, 29 of those as a starter.
The midfielder compiled 2,455 minutes and finishes with four goals and four assists.

I almost posted about this guy a few weeks ago. I am not proud to admit this but I went to my first MLS game in Houston a few weeks back.

He was playing for Toronto and he was utter crap. Would throw his hands up a la Keane but wouldn't do anything.

So I am not surprised. Maybe Newcastle can pick him up.

I thought he was half decent, looked like a wizard on the wing at times.
