I doubt that he was happy not playing football. You just had to look at him sat on the bench by himself.

Knowing that, what did we do to prevent them?

Redknapp got in Tony Parks pretty sharpish when he hit rock bottom, he started to perform pretty well for a while but it didn't last forever. He still made some dodgy decisions.

I think we stood by him pretty well, we fired a coach for him, we kept him in the starting lineup over decent backups, Harry always praised him to the media.

When you're at Spurs you'll never have a rock solid defence, he's lucky he isn't here now or he would have feigned injury every match to get out of playing! lol

Gomes spent yonks nowhere near match day on big money not chasing an exit. We couldn't get rid of him.
