Does anyone know where Jenas was in the last game against Arsenal? Was his ill or something? Will he be back for Fulham?

He has a knock, but I can't remember what exactly.

I hope he's back for Fulham. We missed him badly against the Scum. KPB clearly isn't ready to do that role on his own yet and was bailed out by O'Hara on too many occasions for my liking.

Last I saw was this update before the Scum game from the official website:

A late decision will be taken on the fitness of Jermaine Jenas due to the midfielder picking up an ankle injury at the City of Manchester Stadium

Hope he's back for Fulham, he was on a good run of form before he picked up that knock.

there were times in the first half where I felt Jenas probably was needed, O'Hara was getting a bit of a roasting from Murphy for a bit there...

Wasnt playing in the Woolwich game and we lost. played against Citeh in a 10 man team and we won 2-0. Means nothing. JJ has played well under Ramos and IMO will get even better.

jenas is obviously our best midfielder, its just that he's also our most inconsistent. he would have scored in a game like today

I feel like Huddlestone hampers the other CM he plays with too much. He just doesn't have good enough movement or work rate. Where as Jenas and Boateng both have motors. Zokora has a motor too, but he's like the polar opposite of Huddlestone, lacking a passing game.

Jenas rocks - like most of our players.

Confidence is a wonderful thing and it was rocking earlier in the season due to factors that we all would like to forget about.

Knocking players who the management obviously rate is daft and a waste of time and counter-productive.

I'm glad that Huddlestone scored his two goals today. But his off the ball movement is still piss poor and his workrate is also pretty poor.

I agree with KeaneisKeane Boateng and Jenas are our best CM's

JJ is our best CM by a distance - Boateng is a good player with promise but has a lot to do to get anywhere near JJ - ditto Hudd & O'Hara - but they did the biz today - especially Hudd - just hop JJ is fit by the Villa game if he can't make the Reading game - where I think we have enough to win anyway

Gus said he hoped Jenas would be back today, so maybe he'll be back on Saturday... I think O'Hara might benefit playing alongside Jenas...

Ramos seems unwilling to rush injured players back surely a sign that our squad is broad and versatile enough to cope against most oppositions. Jenas will be better for a few more days rest. I love Ramos's flexibility. Many of our players now know that they may be asked to do more than one role at various times in a match and I feel that is a good thing.
