As it says on the tin: which former Spurs player would you bring back to improve our starting line-up?

As a fan born in 1987, I would go for Klinsmann for his goals or perhaps Berbatov for his hold-up play (see performance vs. Bolton Feb 2007) and goals. Then again, if it's quality hold-up play you want, why look further than Grzegorz Rasiak?

This is an idea shamelessly stolen from the ever-excellent Guardian Sports site (well, they had to get one part of their website right...)

Berbatov.

1) He's a bit of a bellend.
2) He's exactly what we need right now.
3) He'd be affordable.
4) I expect he'd want to stay in the PL.
5) Half of our fans hate him.
6) I prefer his hair these days.
7) He seems to be below Rooney, Welbeck and Hernandez in their pecking order despite his recent scoring record of 6 in 3.

I might have mixed some cons in with the pro's, but either way I'd take him back in a second.

Kevin Scott or Stuart Nethercott seeing as King and Gallas are injured, we could do with a couple of "rocks" like those two.

I nearly said Berbs too funnily enough but then i just thought goals and that was that.

Berbatov really would be incredible for us right now with the service he'd get. He'd possibly tbe op scorer in the league right now if he was with us.

You prefer his lack of hair these days?

And yes, as I said in the OP - I really do think he could be just what we need. Essentially, I feel if Ade gets injured, our title campaign ends and I do NOT like that feeling.

I've never really considered this before but would United actually sell to us? After all, we're competition to them now!

Berbatov, Klinsmann, Lineker or Greaves. Goalscorers with good movement is what we want.
