Has to be Gil for sure. He may be a little inexperienced but theres no doubt that he would not look out of place in a front 3 with kane and son, in fact he would compliment them both nicely.

Already looks a better player than moura and berg. Gil is going to the top, its as clear as day to me.

Gil clearly as we need someone to get us off our seats but I really want Romero to be a beast at the back.

All good signings but I went for Sarr as I can't remember the last all-action midfielder we had. Looks built for the Premier League and he has the potential to dominate games for us.

Very torn between Romero and Gil, but picked the slinky Spanish one as attackers are more exciting innit.

Think his ceiling could be very high indeed - can't think of many signings that made such a striking first impression. Maybe Bale? VDV?

Also have very high hopes for Romero and, as far as CBs go, his style is certainly more on the 'exciting' side.

Romero. Whilst the others will be exciting to watch, it’s Romero for me,if he is as good as everyone is saying he is probably the one player we have been crying out for for many many years.

Really hope Gil can be our David Silva for the next 10 years, yes he’s more of a winger at the moment but i wouldn’t at all be suprised to see him form into more of a creative midfielder

Romero.

After seeing how passive we have become, I've wanted to see a defender who is aggressive, taking control of matters and isn't afraid to burst forward.

That ensures we don't drop deep and play on the back foot because these kinds of defenders urge the team to push on.

Gil. I think we may have to wait a little while befire he's a regular starter or is consistently great.

Voted Romero but could have easily gone with Gil or Emerson either.

Main reason for going with Romero was because I can't wait to see what effect he can have on Sanchez/Dier and the others around him. We won't have an issue scoring goals going forward when our style of play settles and the front men sharpen up in front of goal but if we can stop conceding the late goals and not drop silly points from winning positions then we'll be well on the right track.

Gil and Emerson probably will excite more but good teams have good defences. And I good defending.

Absolutely spot on. If we can get our defence sorted, and cut out the defensive deficiencies which made us surrender 23 points from winning positions last season (something which still gives me the shudders), and with the strike force we now have as available options, we'll improve on last season. The only great gaping hole we still need to fill, is in our creative midfield. Ndombele has been a massive let-down, to put it mildly, but I've made my feelings about him very clear on a number of occasions here already.

However, it's up to other players to step forward now and supply those 'killer passes' which he was brought in to do. I'm looking particularly at Lo Celso and Moura, now with the added injection of Gil, Emerson and perhaps Skipp who has a great eye for a pass.

I'm excited at the prospect of seeing us make great strides forward this season. I wasn't sure about Nuno coming in but now, I've changed my opinion somewhat. I think he has all the right ideas about upping the pace and aggression in the side, and his demands on the players fitness levels and total commitment have been commented on too of late. A very welcome upgrade on our last manager!

COME ON YOU SPURS!!! (y)

I'm by far and away most excited about our 'like a new signing' one man midfield press destroying, chance creating, hard running and ball pinching maestro.... NdomDeleBele. Once the French half of him is fit he will be awesome. Mark my words boys. COYS

Flying Bryan for me, he just appears to be a Spurs type player.

Sarr is also worth a mention because not only do I like getting young talent, I quite like the idea of watching him with no real pressure (granted, I will mainly be relying on SC to "watch" him because I can't see me catching too many Metz games). ?

Romero will have the pressure on from the start because of his price and plaudits from last season and Gollini is a keeper, so he'll mainly be noticed for the mistakes he makes!

I'm intrigued by Emerson, mainly because I've never seen him but let's face it, who gets excited by fullbacks?! ?

Gil!
Saw him live at home to Pacos (and Watford but he literally didn't get a touch after replacing Sonny late on) and he was a joy to watch. I hope he gets plenty more chances to thrill in the coming weeks.
