Oh what might have been…
Berbs. He just does it the Tottenham way.
I was asking myself this over the weekend and found it a tricky one to answer so I am going to ask you guys.
Over the last few years we have seen some of our best players leave the club, and was wondering which one has had the biggest adverse impact on us.
the players im talking about are Robbie Keane, Jermain Defoe, Dimitar Berbatov, Micheal Carrick.
In my opinion all of these player sales had a very damaging impact on our performances on the pitch and arguably none of them have been replaced, but if i had to name one of them id say Robbie Keane.
We really lack that bit of creativity around the box this season and even if he was having an off game he still ran his socks off trying to make things happen and still creating chances.
in order id say
1. Robbie keane
2. Micheal Carrick
3. Dimitar berbatov
4. Jermain Defoe
Have to diagree with you on that one. Berbatov certainly didn't do it the Tottenham way. The Tottenham way is to respect the club.
Why on earth is Keane no. 1?
We miss Carrick the most, then Berbatov.
Really? Like how Klinsmann left us on his buy out clause after one season? Or how Gazza left us? Or like 95% of the legends that played for Spurs left us?
So Colin Calderwood does it the Tottenham way because he stayed with us? Fair enough mate.
Berbs is skill, grace and flair. And we sold him to make a profit.
