Based on the last couple of performances, I'd amend my list to look like this:

Lloris

Walker
Vertonghen
Chiriches
??? - Rose still makes me a little nervous to make him an automatic start

??? - Lennon, Lamela, Townsend
Paulinho
Dembele
Eriksen

Soldado
Ade

First and foremost Lloris, Vertonghen, Sandro and Walker, but also Rose due to the lack of options. Paulinho will be added to the list if he can keep his form up, and Ade is a must as long as we play with two strikers. By this time next season, I think Lamela and Eriksen will be on the list as well.

I'm thinking this should be the home team for lower games, with away / tougher games brining Sandro in for Paulinho.

Wouldn't be surprised if Townsend found his way to the left wing when he comes back though tbh, Sherwood knows him well

Agree except I think Ade is a must regardless of how many strikers we play. In the PL I just don't think Soldado is effective enough up top on his own.

Lennon
Adebayor

On current form are definite first XI. I'd like to add Vertonghen when he's back. Have to say apart from the goal tally, Soldado has been immense in our goal creation, but not automatic yet.

Because he's strong, fast and has a good shot and cross on him. Not all of this is based on his performances at Spurs though.

I still have hope for him, but he hasn't done enough to merit him being in the team for me yet - at least not ahead of the others.

Vlad Chiriches all the way... and not just because of the cool name! Jeez, I'm surprised he's not been mentioned as prominently as he deserves! He's the complete player for me - knows how to defend with pin-point accurate challenges. His passing is second to none and knows how to move the ball forward when required and of course isn't bad at taking shots either. He is a bit of a cowboy, but given his reputation - he can get away with it as his record speaks for itself.

Lennon must play, despite his some of his limitations, we always look a better side and more balanced with him in.

At the moment I have to say Adebayor, Eriksen, Lennon and Soldado play really well together and are forming a good understanding, Lamela will have to play second string to Lennon (I never thought I would find myself saying that when we signed him) and Eriksen untill he finds his feet in this league. Even though I really like Lennon I hope Lamela can stake a claim to the right wing in the future. If Townsend is up for it I'd love to have him as a squad player, not a starter at the moment though. Chadli sadly doesn't look like he is ever going to be more than a decent 2nd or 3rd option, I don't mind him though unlike some people here who thinks every single player in the squad needs to be world a class player.

We are spoilt for choise between Dembélé, Paulinho, Sandro and to a lesser extent Capoue and Bentaleb, all of them looks more or less like really good players, Paulinho looked like a world class player against Stoke but we'll have to wait and see how he returns from his injury. Basically none of them HAS to play, they are all good.

When it comes to our defenders the ones who must play when fit is Walker and Vertonghen. I'm not conviced at all by Rose, he looks out of his depth as soon as he is up against a decent winger. But he is the best option at the moment since Fryers is not ready for this league yet even though he was decent against Stoke. Chiriches can become such a fantastic player if he is able to bulk up and adapt to the physical level of the premier leauge. He is a very high risk/high reward player at the moment, not made that many misstakes yet that have led to a goal (if any?) but it's just a matter of time when it comes to him.

Goalkeeper? Lloris.

Lloris and Ade undroppable atm. The rest could be rested if we have a full squad to play with

I'd pretty much say that was spot on, still unconvinced by Rose, stood off his man far too much for my liking yesterday meaning they could easily feed it wide. scary to think beast isn't first choice but I think Paulinho will turn out to be a star.

Ade, sandro, verts, walker, hugo, Soldado. Eriksen, lennon, Dembele and Paulinho are all very close.
Rose 'has' to play but I think he is poor so would play both verts and BAE above him.
The idea of a first 11 is redundant at the top of the league so I think we are fortunate in that we have top quality players who don't make the list like capoue, lamela, Chadli, holtby and Townsend.
For me we have a squad more than capable of making the top 4. My only real concern is our reliance on ade. Kane is the only similar player but he simply isn't in the same class. Perhaps we could play Lamela off of soldado?

The three key men for me at the moment are Adebayor, Dembele and Lennon.

I say that because there the most difficult to replace if out.
