Any thoughts on Spalletti? I haven't seen anything linking him to us, but I have read he's finally looking to get out of Russia. It's their winter break so it would be a good time for him to make a move.

Not overly fond of the master of the 4-6-0 formation, to be honest. Granted he may have adapted to a different style while at Zenit, I honestly haven't a clue what system they play, but his Roma days were less than inspiring.

As this is a "who would you want to be manager" poll and not "who would likely be the next manager",
I'd have thought that Martinez name would have been thrown in, as I'm sure he would have gotten a few votes.

Think Levy should have a go - he hasn't backed various managers now with their first choice signings because he knows better. So lets see if can manage as well as chair.

In all seriousness FdeB is the obvious standout but why would he want to come to us?

Whoever it is we better fucking get them in now. I don't want us to get some stop gap in until the summer, otherwise there's no point in us even having sacked AVB.

I went with other. I don't really give a fuck who it is to be honest, I just want it to work out for the best, be a long term solution who has no intention of leaving us and leads us into the promise land.

I've had enough of false dawns. I've had enough of sackings.

Would love to see DL get into a row with Arsene on the touchline.

Klinsmann for me - he has a good proven track record and I believe he could turn things around for us.

I can see why DB is favourite in the poll though.

appointment needs to be made swiftly, don't want a palace situation where it takes a month to appoint someone.

Although he is definitely my number 1 choice,I am still stunned that so many people have selected De Boer and its a landslide vote.

I really hope he fancies us.
