as long as Sherwood fucks off I'll be enthusiastic about anyone coming in as quite frankly I've lost my interest in football thanks for this tosspot.

I do like the idea of LVG but I simply can't see it working with Levy and so de boer or pochettino for me.

Not just saying but I think anyone we get is doomed to fail under levy ... That little fucker gives me no confidence at all in the football side and winning mentality set up of club -- all he wants is money and fucking pot loads of it , his legacy will be the stadium he will build but at the expense of a shit team IMO .. I said at start of season when people on here pissing themselves with excitement at players been bought that we stood no chance of top 6 let alone 4truly it was a whole cluster fuck of signings that showed a real lack of desire , intelligence and cleverness ... I think the phrase was and is much of a muchness ... I expect same again this summer .

Personally I think it will be Pochettino. Young, content with working under a director of football and may have a bit of power in influencing Lallana\Shaw to come to us. Also, he's Argentinian which may help Lamela a bit more.

I don't think the Van Gaal option is dead yet. I'm not convinced he's a shoe in at Man Utd. I think they're looking for another long term appointment and LVG is not that. He can be a bit of an embarrassment too. I wouldn't be surprised if Giggs and his chums get the job for next season!

We could end up with LVG because no one else goes for him.

LvG with Giggs as assistant ensures a smooth transition when LvG buggers off. Giggs was always going to be a future united manager so having him spend 2/3 years with someone like LvG would make sense.

Top 6 cos united are bloody useless this year . They won't be near as bad next season when they spend 200 mill this summer and sort their mess out unlike us ... I see absolutely nothing in out squad that says we will get better next season from body language to mentality to effort to plain been unlucky to whatever .... We are sixth cos of Hugo lloris in the main and more inportantly the fact the league is shit with really shit teams in it ... Exciting yes cos teams can beat anyone more than ever but still shit all the same and we are the bottom team by million miles in the first tier of that

So, according to you, we have just magically turned to shit? We may not be as good as in the golden days with Bale, Modric, King and VDV, but there's a lot of potential in our squad nonetheless.

I've actually changed my vote from the first one, I feel bad for doing it so I'll explain.

De Boer hasn't actually looked that good at Ajax this season and I actually like the idea of having a Spanish speaking coach now to get the best from Lamela, Soldado, Paulinho and Sandro, not mention the chance to get Lallana and other Southampton players so for my sins I've switched to MoPo.

I'm sorry Frank (especially if you speak Spanish which I suspect you do).
You got to remember Ajax had their key playmaker taken from them last summer, remember how lost we looked when Modric left. Every year they seem to loose their best players and manage to survive buy bringing new youth talent successfully through the ranks. I'm not saying FDB would necessarily be my number 1 choice but, for me, he would be above Poch.

Seeing as the main target has gone united, I'm not entirely sure who I want.
In fact I can list more people I DONT want:
Benitez
Mancini
Moyes
Pochettino
Sherwood

Not who I want but who we will get:

1. LVG is ManU bound. He thinks he is bigger than we are.
2. De Boer will not want to join us. He knows he will need time to acclimatise to the BPL and the fans and DL will not give him time. He will be better off waiting for a bigger club with CL football.
3. Rafa Benitez - don't see why he will leave CL club for us. Will bide his time.
4. Pochettino - he is our only realistic choice. We are a bigger club than Southampton. Players will already know Southampton plays decent football and will respect him. Levy knows the fans do too and will be ok. Expectations will not be so high as he is not a trophy proven manager so he will be given more time.

Tada! Pochettino it is. If not, we will get a manager wanting to prove they can cut it in the BPL, so no point wishing for great names!

I think people would be sceptical given the gulf between football in Norway and the PL.
No doubt. He wouldn't get much time to work his magic, I'm afriad. Still, it's funny how Solskjær got 15 votes in this poll, based on his merits as a player. Sure, he won the Norwegian league twice, but Molde is Norway's equivalent of Man City, while Strømsgodset is more like Norway's West Brom.
