Gotta love how Lucky Redknapp is!!! he doesn't do tactics, just pure luck.

<sigh>

The thing is, Redknapp does do tactics...it is just that sometimes he gets his tactics wrong - ask any half decent, knowledgeable United fan and they will tell you Red Nose sometimes makes a complete rick of his tactics, too.

I agree, but i feel he doesn't get the credit for when he gets them right, unlike when it all goes wrong he is slated.

We all make mistakes, but feel like Redknapp is 1 mistake away from a lynching from Spurs fans, whereas it shouldn't be like that at all with his record. he should be lauded as a god-like figured for what he has archived.

That's what he's in court for isn't it ?

thats just it though. one or two of the self proclaimed uber coaches on here dont seem to be.

seems to be that perfection must be attained every signle minute of every single game. every one of there criticisms is approached with the view that they are spot on without room for doubt.

i dont think its so much the critsim that gets on peoples tits its the constant condescending "im right your wrong" tone one or two take or at least theres an element of that involved here perhaps some people might not gt as frustrated if these people were to show a bit more humility instead of coming in here filling the place up with glib little one liners while waiting the next chance to have petty dig. as the recent brendon rogers thread showed all too well.

arry makes choices that we dont all agree with.some of them work some of them dont. thats the way of it wth every manager thats ever been and yes criticism is sometimes warranted but some people have a rght old dig without even the faintest clue as to wether their proposed solutions would actually work. fucking hindsight eh?

Relax...they just like to analyse more (I'm being NICE ).
I can watch a game like Fulham and seethe positive in it. And I also accept that every team with have some poor performances, no matter how great. But it doesn't mean I won't discuss tactics, substitutions, etc., and say where I think thangs went wrong.

Do some folk just like to do that more  Maybe. Are they Uber coaches

I'm just happy to be watching possibly the best Spurs team of my 35 or so years as a fan

 ive no problem with people discussing tictacs and sub and all that we all would do things differently and give arry stick even but imo with some theres an undercurrent in the way they convey that puts certain other posters backs up . sometimes these guys are right and have a point but theres a condescendingness (thats a word right?) about their interaction that grates and you end up with all this bickering

Thanks Santa. First, I would like world peace, a trophy this season and a Batman alarm clock (with batteries please)

I agree though, its Harry's media persona we rile to, well I do. And his condesending attitude to us.

He is clearly a competent, good footballing playing manager. But unlike Venables who had the same character as him and the same great belief in talent.

Some, including me do not see him as 'one of our own' there are plenty of others though that adore him. I think some of this is because even after winning the prem with us he would still say on the 'Harry at 80' special, hosted by Richard Keys and Louise 'my heart was with West Ham'

Bit of the GG. But I am liking him more and more and there is no denying he has built by luck and judgement a brilliant side to watch and believe in. Even if all of us could improve it....
