Yeah my name isn't Dan either, it's just a username lol

But I get why you're always angry at me now :D
LOL I'm not always angry at you, it's more like the other way around! I lost count of the amount of times you've lost your temper with me.

dembele was brilliant, he just needs to sharpen up his distribution.

What it shows is that the squad is always picked on merit of performance. Either Dembele has been too good for Bentaleb to get a sniff or Bentaleb hasn't been impressing in training and when he's played.

Or he has to do a Wimmer.

Dembele has been the best CM in the league this season for my money, won't get many plaudits though from the so called experts as he doesn't score enough goals.

Phenomenal turn around really, there were times when he looked completely finished as a Spurs player. Fair play to him and Poch

Told my mates 3 months ago that Dembele was currently the best CM in the league, they all laughed. Man Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle fans

I was about to say 'steady on' but there aren't many better than him this season.

I think Kante at Leicester has probably just got the nod on him at the moment, but other than that who has actually been better consistently?

He has been excellent this season and I for one am delighted to be wrong in thinking he didn't have a future with us.

That said I still think he needs to release the ball quicker at times but that's a minor issue imo.

Yep agree with you there. Him and Kante have been head and shoulders above anyone else

Yep. I was thinking his hip issue would be the reason but didn;t think he'd be here much longer, never mind be killing it

Bentaleb missed most of pre-Christmas with injury, and only back in the last month.

With Dembele performing well, Carroll too, and Dier an almost permanent fixture in the CM2, its been hard for Bentaleb and Mason to do much more than get on the bench.
