why only 3 warm up games?

Doesn't seem a little odd to be only playing 3 warm up games prior to the prem kick off?

The complaint was the fact that we went abroad to too many places in pre season, because we played benfica then went to san jose then went to new york then to back to england. I think he said he would prefer not going to all these tournaments

We obviously haven't scheduled the annual Stevenage game yet. I guess we'll have one more on top of that, probably at the Lane as we only have one there so far. We usually get two before the season starts. My money's on a big club from Serie A or possibly the Bundesliga. Better yet Ajax.

The Bilbao game is on ITV4.

Usually ESPN are all over the pre-season games (same as Setanta used to be) so I'd be surprised if they don't pick up our games in South Africa.

Spurs XI usually have a game at Aldershot too (hope they do sort one out as its just round the corner from me)

A game for the Spurs XI against Orient, a new friendliness seems to have emerged between DL and BH over their mutual struggle regarding the OS. Maybe there's more riding on this game than meets the eye, the loser to foot the bill for the court case?

We've had a good relationship with Orient for a while. We used Brisbane Road (or the Matchroom stadium) as our reserve team ground when we had a reserve team, I think this is the 3rd or 4th year we are playing a friendly down there, and we've sent lads on loan there for 3 or 4 years as well.

I just hope we get rid of our strikers before the friendlies. If Defoe etc play and score against some of the lower opposition, Harry will probably decide that they are not that bad after all and keep them!
