Guys it’s just the Daily Mirror for gods sake. This guy Nursery is notorious for making his own agenda. I’m not saying he’s coming to Spurs but you’re all talking like he’s already signed for Chelsea.
I expect they’d be a better researched article written at a Nursery!

depends, personally CM is more important. Zaha for 60 mill would likely eat the majority of our transfer budget unless we shift the deadweight in a week which would be tough even with two months to sell them and then levy wanting premium prices to boot

I'd be surprised if we had a budget beyond whatever we were gonna spend on Grealish.
This idea of a 150m budget was a myth because it was having to be funded by sales. With Toby, Rose, Dembele and any deadwood yet to be sold we don't have much of a budget in my opinion.

Sounds like normal then. No idea why people expect anything different.

Not sure what we're playing at here.

If we've been told to meet Palace's valuation by today or no deal, and we haven't, I'll be furious if we waste our time trying to go back in for him at the last minute when we could be concentrating on getting option 3 in (it's bad enough that we've got to go for the 3rd best option anyway)

Who said we had to meet the valuation by today? (Seriously, I must have missed this bit of info :nailbiting: )

I hope he doesn’t go to Chelsea, will be livid. Clear poch target and apparently affordable, and the fact he’s only £7m on fantasy football.

Couple bits from ITK suggest we’d know either way by Wednesday / Thursday (today) and that Parish wanted a week to sort out getting replacements etc or no deal? Something like that - I’m paraphrasing here

Well the second bit seems to be happening (unless Palace have decided they're just going to spend and pray) No idea about the first bit as Zaha has been dead, alive and semi dead in the last 24 hours, I guess we'll see. (?)

Interesting seeing how simple information can be interpreted depending on one's perspective - whilst spurs fans are seeing Zaha's InstaWhatsApp things as signs of a move, they're (palace fans) seeing them as definite signs he's staying.

I just can’t see it happening anymore - we’ve seen it so many times when a club names their price and we just keep going back and testing the waters thinking we’ll change their mind and we just end up passing them off!

Didn’t Herc say Palace hold all the cards and Levy is going to have to meet their demands or basically not bother?

You're absolutely right about this. I've just been on the Liverpool and Everton forums and they all think that we should calm down.

Liverpool fan at work was buzzing at that 3 big outs, 2 in article from SSN earlier.

I'm sure those same fans wouldn't be as rational if roles were reversed.

We do have a very good squad but anyone who thinks weakening it (which selling Toby, Rose and Dembele does) is progress from a top PL side is deluding themselves. We've also been told the negative side effects of poor transfers on Poch and the players by ITK.

That's what emojis do. That straight faced non speaking emoji could be taken both ways.

No comment but here's me in a palace shirt: staying

No comment so no denial of rumuor: wants out.

Bloody Internet.

Yeah lot of other teams fans are going to have a shock to the system when they realise we barely used those players aside from Dembele last season and were still quality.

No clue anymore.

If he ends up holding another teams shirt I reckon that would be pretty final. I'd prefer it if he is the one earmarked to come into the fold at Spurs.

Guess the wait goes on for now.

Nail hit on the head here mate.

You would think we would learn or lesson. But then maybe the intention from our erstwhile chairman is a we tried but the goalposts changed, agent activity Bull Shit outcome to this window by not bloody signing anyone.

Speculate to accumulate is definitely not in Danny Boys shot transfer business model.
