Levy is a fucking twat in the transfer window, fuels his ego by lowballing and fucking about the useless prick, VDV fell into his lap and he’s been living off it since, no doubt he runs the club well money wise but he is shit at the art of negotiation and comes across as an awkward, arrogant dick!

Yeah he’s well useless - got the new stadium built, Poch, Kane, Son and Lamela on new deals, but no big deal.

Trying to remain positive here:

We haven't sold anyone of note, in particular Toby (yet).
Dembélé seems set to stay for another year, which is great news.
Lucas Moura looks sharp and ready to challenge for a starting place.
New contracts for important players (and the manager) have been signed with more to come hopefully.
We still have several of our key players to return after the extended World Cup break.

It's not all doom and gloom, although I doubt Poch is happy thus far.

Yep, this one transfer window (which is still open) defines the entirety of his 15 years dragging us up from mid table also-rans to one of the best clubs in Europe.

I guess Chelsea have the fact they’ve been in amongst trophies, but looking at both of us we have the better stadium now and been on more of an upward curve.

So frustrating.
Only in our eyes.

It’s difficult to look at it objectively, when you come with spurs tinted glasses.

Of course we’d say ours is the best option, naturally because we are bought into it, where as Chelsea will spend big, have more world class players and when turn it on, can beat anyone.... ask anyone outside of spurs, most would say go to Chelsea over spurs.

Don't get me wrong, as annoyed as anyone else with the lateness of the moves, and not exact the bald ones biggest fan, but in this case what else could levy do than offer more money to Zaha and agree the deal with palace?

Make his move earlier when Chelsea were in no mans land

Wait isn't Chelsea in financial dire straits or a monumental mess...thats what the Bsodl will have you believe. Granted that Zaha to Chelsea isn't confirmed.

Some real gems in this window.
1. Value at the business end of the window.
2. Pointless announcing player signings during the WC.
3. 3-4 weeks until the window closes..plenty of time
4. Down to daily count down..yet some dont see whats before them.
5. Some real bedwetters(new favourite word) Levy has this under control.
6. Player X not the primary target.

I could go on.....

Itk share in good faith and A&C has repeatedly warned about salt.... So as far as im concerned this deal was never a goer based on how we've treated him previously.. Oh that and he's prohibitive price tag. Same applies to Martial. We dont do players at those price levels.. Correction Levy doesnt

I would totally agree but the likes of Chelsea and City got to their current level by offering better wages and bonuses like we supposedly did. Recent trophy history did not matter at the time.

We had ITK saying the player's agent loves us, we have been in regular contact, fee agreed and we offered better wages, bonuses and have CL football which the player valued.

Personally I think those saying we had no chance were just as bad IMHO, typical pessimism. Hindsight is 20/20. We beat them to Llorente less than a year ago.

Objectively no one would have seen Chelsea get Jorginho ahead of City but it happened.

Wouldn't surprise me if we've lost out because of something we as a club did (stalled on the deal for a prime taregt) or even Chelsea did (upped the transfer offer or included better p/ex options). Problem is we'll likely never find out either way.

If we’ve offered better wages and package to Zaha what on earth would make him choose Chelsea over us??

I'm sure they've offered him more. The packages each club offered would be extremly difficult to find out.

Whilst I appreciate the info, I don't believe we've had an offer accepted for Zaha. Just my opinion.

A, I'm hesitant to believe Levy would sanction a deal that would cost circa 65m

B, if there was offers accepted surely we'd have heard by now in the mainstream media

Gards mentioning the financials don't stack up for Zaha. Goes on to say that for the money that's being talked about, you would want a Bale.

I know where he is coming from. But! If! We are claiming to go big. I don’t see 60m for a player like him, or similar expensive. And his wages is what we are paying, and less than HK. Time will tell

Surely we could just throw this money at Martial or Pulisic. Zaha would be half the price if he played outside the PL.

I'm not anti Levy at all, I just don't like the way Levy fails to deliver what Poch needs to take us up a level.

Martial too expensive apparently.
Zaha rejects us for elsewhere.
Grealish, Levy fails to do the deal when we could have, Villa get new owners and then the deal collapses.

But apparently none of it is Levy's fault? Come on man. I'm a big fan of what Levy has done for Spurs but it's quite clear Levy's having a shocker this summer and can rightfully be criticised for it. I'm quite happy to be proven wrong, how many days of the window left?
It’s not clear because none of the information you have is clear or completely reliable.

The only strong impression you will have is (as many itk have said) when the window closes. Which will hopefully be soon so everyone can stop melting.
