Will Chelsea throw the Leicester game?

As per thread title.

If it means we miss out on the title, do you think Chelsea, being the poo-infested dog bin they are, will allow Leicester to win?

Fabregas all but confirmed it the other night when we played football against the rugby lads.

I'm certainly expecting a stronger Chelsea performance against us than Leicester.

Thoughts??

When did he confirm it?

Don't Chelsea have beef over Leicester about some stabbing?

Plus, reigning champions won't want to roll over on the last day v the (potential) champions elect, will they? You think the champions want to be dethroned on the last day of the campaign by the team they're playing at their gaff?? No bloody way they do

Plus they won't want to 'give' the title to an ex manager

Plus who actually hates us there? The fans really. & sadly it's not the fans on the pitch.

You'd think the highly paid professionals running the club have professional pride & would be above that

& you'd think no professional sportsperson would lose a game over spite - & besides as said, the players themselves ... why should they have beef? They might have a personal preference but it's against the whole mindset of a professional sportsman to do such a thing. Especially on an entire team level - unheard of

Nah. Not buying this conspiracy theory

I highly doubt John Terry will want his last game at the Bridge to be a defeat and pretty much hand the title to the team they lost to on their own patch. What a s*** way end to your career at the club you've been at your whole life. The fans are a different story, thankfully they aren't the ones playing.

Keep his mouth shut and be professional. Ask him his pin to his bank account and see his answer

I was this way of thinking too, until I heard Hazard on motd last night. He believes Lester deserve to win it and of course he doesn't want spurs to win it. They'll certainly put more effort in against us. Let's hope we blow them away so that it doesn't matter.

I think people are putting way too much stock in what people are saying.

The Swansea manager said he wanted Leicester to win the league and now apparently they're throwing the match. Fabregas said he doesn't want Spurs to win. Natural being a former Arsneal and current Chelsea player but is now being taken 10 steps too far as him throwing the match against Leicester.

Did everyone lose their shit when Crouch said he wanted us to win the league just before we played Stoke?

With the atmosphere at the Bridge their players are going to be right up for it. With the Euros on the way I can see players from many teams with nothing to play for being a little half hearted hoping to not get injured.

We all remember Man Utd's 1-0 loss to West Ham before their FA Cup final so we know in different circumstances players can lack a bit of commitment.

But to actually throw the match? I don't believe so.

Well. Fabreagas said similar but that doesn't translate to throwing games!

& fact of the matter is they're shit anyway. We & Leicester both should completely blow them away anyway no matter what

Well, with for the players and managers wanting Leicester to win, I for one embrace our role as the fairy tale villains. Because only in football does a team with a racist, homophobe, wife-beater, was financially doped in the Championship and has suspicions of PED use get lauded as some fairy tale hero. So we're the villains, awesome I hope we ruin everyone's year, because frankly we seem to be the only side out there worthy of being called a fairy tale but cos everyone hates us, fuck'em.

Theyre gonna chuck the game. Hazard's comment on motd about 'the club' not wanting spurs to win is the one that stands out.

Wish somerhing could be done to remind chelsea of their professionalism, premier league wouldnt want anything getting in the way of the fairytale.

We need to be level with or ahead of lesta by the last game imo for the miracle to happen, which is unlikely.

Not gonna happen peeps. Just hope we can secure 2nd

Surprised no one mentioned what Fabregas said later.

Something along the lines of... they're professionals that have pride, and after the season they have had they want to win all their games left as it is what their fans deserve.

I know we're just on a football forum, but that doesn't mean we have to plummet to the depths of our current education system.

It's Leicester - not Lester

I fully expect to see John Terry change into a full Leicester City kit and join in with their celebrations and trophy presentation if they do win the title at Stamford Bridge.
