I've not seen too much of the guy. If he comes then I'll support him, but I have to confess to not having heard of him until we were linked previously.

I'm sure there are plenty of decent creative types around for £30m. That's a previously unheard of amount of money for us to be throwing around. Fine for the oligarch clubs, but the frankly ridiculous sums that are being bandied around for Bale has escalated things somewhat. And let's be fair, noone here wants to see Bale go but you'd be silly not to sell an asset for a world record sum when there's a chance it could be worth a fraction of that with one bad injury.
