Willian to Chelsea

I can't see us signing Willian after signing Chadli. They both play in the same position/s pretty much. I know Willian is the better footballer, but surely would be stupid to buy two players who occupy the same position.

It would add strength and depth to the squad.

I think it is fairly clear AVB likes Willian, so i'd not be at all surprised to see us make a move for him. We're certainly looking to make a statement this summer.

Yeah it is thats why i put floater mate using a different word. I like to be special . Yes as i also said yesterday Willian is our first choice as a forward.

It is popularly thought on this board that in AVB likes inverted wingers with his preferred 4-3-3 system, so Bale's place will be on the right wing, cutting in to shoot with his left foot much like Hulk at Porto. I believe in the one friendly that Bale played this offseason, that was his position.

You must have. Bale is more of a goal threat from the right side as he is left footed and able to cut in from the right and take a shot on goal. He started there the last few games of last season.

For me, if Willian is to be bought he'd have to take up a central role. The wing forwards in a 4-3-3 need to be more direct and smash in more goals (and goal attempts) than Willian can offer. I think he'd be more suited to the role at the top of the middle 3 (behind the striker) creating through balls and passing into space for the front 3. Either way, just thinking about it is making me light headed.

Liverpool might be willing to pay more than us to get him... I really hope not because Sturridge-Coutinho-Suarez-Willian would be good for a lot of goals. Fortunately they'd still be shit everywhere else though.

Willian knows he made a mistake by joining Anzhi. I don't think he'll make the same mistake and join the Bindippers. His dream move would be us and AVB.
