That's seems bizarre as he's ineligible for the cup games anyway. Good news if it is the case.

Excatly it doesn't make any sense that two games he is ineligible for could count towards his suspention.

Too bad because the Stoke and Bolton games are vital, still the other midfielders will hopefully step up to prove they are worth a place in the team.
