I swear Almiron has been linked with half of the PL. I think we have bigger needs in CM and LB.
Yeah, believe he was linked to Arsenal a while back. I'd rather not spend 25mil on players from the MLS.

There is honestly some good talent in the MLS. Having said that, I haven’t watched Atlanta much so I can’t provide any real opinion on him

We’ve been linked with Almiron of Atlanta United in the MLS

[Fútbol a lo Grande] Miguel Almiron is going to Tottenham from Atlanta United in MLS. The transfer fee is nearly 25 million Euros. (almost $30 million)

Linked to West Ham only yesterday.

I'd suggest Spurs name is being used again to force whoever is in for him's hand.

I wanted him after the World Cup and even more so after last night. If Lozano is available for the reported £15 million we should snap him up. He’s gonna be a star.

He will be worth more then double that, imagine he will go next summer for around 40/45 mil Euros. He is the top goalscorer in the Dutch league ATM.

Almiron's the best player in the MLS when playing at his peak (though I might be biased since Atlanta are my favorite MLS team), and he could do a job in any of the 4 big leagues. That being said, I think he's a bit too small and brittle to cut it in England. Right now he's sidelined with an injured hamstring for Atlanta's big end-of-season match against Toronto on Sunday.

Still, though, he's a talented player and is absolutely devastating to have on the counter. He comes from an aggressive, high-pressing team too, so Poch's system wouldn't be foreign to him.

Atlanta's striker (Josef Martinez) is who I think Spurs should really go for on that team. Maybe their 16-year-old fullback (George Bello) too, but in a few years.

Man City reportedly also looking at Ndombele. We're fucked if that's the case. Shame always recognizing what basically is the missing piece only to more often than not miss out.
Not necessarily... Tottenham is an attractive option.

If I had 100 million to improve us I'd blow the lot on top notch wingbacks and a potential.

We are, but come on now. Who would choose a club who aren't winning trophies over one that are? City have places up for grabs in the CM positions so it won't be like he's going there to play second fiddle either. Whereas we are falling behind, despite the stadium, because we lack ambition on the field.

Lo Celso scored a screamer against Milan last night. I still think he should be our number 1 target for a Eriksen back up. He can play as an AM and a CM, he’s left footed and only 22. PSG are happy to let him go for financial reasons and value him around 25 mil.

IMO the De Ligt ship has sailed. Equally I wouldn't want us paying anywhere near that kind of money for a CB who is still very young. I think he ends up at Barca, a team that can afford to pay silly money and still sit him on their bench for a while.

I'd rather Spurs look at a player like Jonathan Tah for CB. No idea what he'd cost but don't see it being as much as De Ligt.

We need to be putting all our effort into N'Dombele. If we try in January (unlikely?) then it may be just early enough to nip in before the big guns start circling because by next summer he's gonna be out of our reach I think.

How are we falling behind. This is our best league start in how many years. We have a stadium coming... WHY the negativity?
