likwise, without a rationale
likwise, without a rationale
It did have a rationale, mate. Your post: you called Davies the biggest thief of a Spurs wage of all time. Obviously, that is false on many levels. But without getting into a debate on Davies, who I believe continues to be underrated by fans, the following players have also put on Spurs shirts: Postiga, Rebrov, Raziak, Rocha, Brown, G. Doherty, Ndombele, N’Koudou, N’Jie, F. Campbell,, etc. etc. etc.

Maybe. I think City, Arsenal and Liverpool are strong favourites for top 4. United and Chelsea are still in transition, but Villa are looking really good.
The key will be whether Levy can give Ange the tools he needs. Ideally we need 3 players in January. A midfielder, a centre back and a forward. If we get 2/3 with one of them being a CB then that'll just about be enough.

We're in big trouble lads
It's not as bad as it looks just yet. We still have 2 talented young defenders Ange can gamble on and Bentancur will be able to play 90 minutes soon. Romero will be back in 2 games and Destiny is back already. There's a good chance we end up losing 4 in a row but i'm confident there will be enough about us to win that West Ham game.

And if Villa continue to play a high line then Sonny's game will be much more suited to hopefully finding some joy.

Would have taken a draw before the start, but to lose it at the end is sickening.

I thought in the main, defensively we were good. But by the end were left with too many players on the pitch without enough game time, having to see out too much of the game.
Gio, Bentancur, Gil, none of them sharp and up with the pace of the game, and with 3 at the back without much gametime either, it was too much to keep Wolves out.

No matter how big your squad is, if you lose 4 key first teamers in one game it's gonna cost you. For all the pride felt at the end of the Chav game, in the end it was just a fucking nightmare result all round.

Reading some of the posts and comments on SM, I swear we are a club of one day wonders. Yes we lost today and should nor have. We played awful for the most part and it is obvious that our depth is brutal. I even heard people slatimg Ange. He would have learned a lot today.
My money is on him to get it right in time. I've been to the last 4 home games and seen enough on TV. We got off to a great start in the league and thank God we did.
Losing sucks and today is a balls, given Monday nights score.
Either way we will still be top 4 come the international break and to those who write things a 10 year old kid would, leave it out will you

The ref was appalling - just ledtnso
Many niggly little fouls go - that free
Kick at the end was a poor decision - my heart went in my mouth everytime wolves came forward as we were so exposed
Next game with udogie back is rather see royal at cb with dier or dier and Phillips

next midfield pray bentacur is ready to start

not sure whether I’d play peh holding SAR and bent as a 10 or bent holding SAR and kulu as 10

It's not knee jerk at all. Been saying it since Monday night that we couldn't play this way with those players.
I agree lets hope Ange realise's it and changes for the next few games but he's a bit obstinate and I'm not sure he will.

I left the etc in because I knew there were many I wasn’t including. But I have to confess, I did consider Zokora. But he wasn’t that bad. He just couldn’t pass more than 20 yards. He also couldn’t pass forwards. Therefore, he can’t be a thief as he couldn’t even pick the lock of a National League defence.
