I would imagine Ange will learn a lot from these defeats. Maybe teams have worked out how to play us and he will need to tweak a few things. The Premier League is obviously way different from Scotland.
The absence of vital players has obviously had a huge impact. I just hope we find a way to cope and get through this period without too much damage. Today we looked off the pace. Not pressing as much and losing most of the 50/50 balls.

We had our best creator and passer of a ball missing and three of our defenders (arguably the best left back and central defenders in the PL).

Pep bemoans missing De Bruyne, and they are certainly not at their best without him, how would any team cope without four of their starting eleven?

City may cope, but the other so called top four or five?

Looking "off the pace" when you play Ange's style of football with Dier, Emerson and Davies cannot be the same as with Romero, Micky and Udogie.

Patience needed and a couple of more transfer windows me thinks.

This is not a disaster under any circumstances and learning curve for the newer players, including Romero and Udogie one would hope.

He won't tweak fuck all, teams haven't worked out how to play us in the last weak they knew before but we are too good for them and we will be too good for them when we get the squad to match our best eleven.
It's very difficult to sign players on that basis, especially with no European football to provide natural rotation need

The problems arose out of the uncoordinated press from the midfield and forward line.

I'm not convinced Hojbjerg can press effectively in this system and imo it only takes one player in midfield not to be able to do the job properly for things to start unravelling. The lack of mobility, not being able to nip in at speed and get away in transition causes problems. He is a great option off the bench to see out games but as a starter I'm not surprised Ange isn't the biggest fan.

Not really, I'm sure faster CB's are out there. However difficult it is it's what we are going to have to do and I don't doubt we will.

And to top it off, I had to go to the enemies ground, outside of course, to meet my son and missus. My 12 year old is a Gooner. It pains me beyond belief, but I still love him. Git!!

Experienced players don't need a Manager with a plan
to tell them what to do when 1-0 up in extra time.
Should have seen that out.

All that talk of Dier having experience in the Chelsea game, yet he was one of those to blame today 🤦🏼‍♀️

Experience means nothing if you’re not good enough & we have too many of those 🥱

It's the whirlwind of expectation with us punctured by Chelsea who not only wrecked us on Monday but then we imploded to wreck ourselves as well.

What was disappointing today was all of us knew with that team it was always going to be tricky and the high line was just never going to work with that defence. Porro is the only one who knows it and can't do that on his own. When tried from that we were exposed down the wings so many times. Royal my god just a liability waiting to happen. Without Maddison I would have turned to Le Celso or Bentancur just for a creative purpose instead none at all or it was to late.

Ange needs to be so much braver as it reaked of management decisions before and what's coming is a worry.

Take 4 of your best players out of your first 11 ( and a weirdly subdued Biss) all teams struggle. It wasn't pretty and I was thrown back to watching Conte. We move on.

Honestly, we've been worse than this. A lot worse, and with managers who basically would have given up and been clueless what to do next. At least we have more faith in Ange to get us through the next couple of months than we would have had a couple of years ago.
