Kicks off on the 6th.

Spain, England, France, Netherlands, Sweden and Germany all are 10/1 or less to win.

I’d say I have a mild interest in it. I’m sure it will turn into some ridiculous bandwagon basically just an excuse to throw bear around. I just find the amount of hype a real turn off. Constantly being told about sold out stadiums and how unbelievably popular the womens game is. The reality is 3k turned up to see our womens team at the stadium. But it’s gonna be forced down our throats prime time Bbc1 every evening which I find remarkable. Just wish they’d let the womens grow organically without that feeling it’s being forced on me.

Everyone has the right to an opinion but this couldn't be further from how I feel.

The game isn't "forced down my throat" as I can just turn the telly off and celebrating the fact that women's football is taking off sounds pretty sensible to me - at the end of the day it's just further opportunities to watch football.

I'm looking forward to it and think England have a great chance of actually winning the thing.

Three posts before we got the usual bullshit that it's being forced on you.

Mate I woke up at 7AM Sky whole breakfast hour was sue smith on a bus. Get home 6pm she’s still there filling up a whole hour. Sky obviously realise it’s a new revenue stream and are pushing it to the max.

So turn it over. People only ever moan about womens sport being forced on them. Nothing about men's football, the rugby, athletics, nothing about Wimbledon which is all over the TV now. Put on a women's tournament though...

Not the best start from England. They look at bit nervy and Austria have started well. Just need to settle down and keep the ball for a bit.

Oh word what's with the A4 paper sheets with goal written on them?

Good finish that, can't have been many millimeters over the line

The only way the women's game I'd going to grow is through publicity, for fucks sake.
What, you want nobody to mention it?
That really gonna help.

How is anything going to grow without being in the spotlight? Sounds like your issues are more complex than you're making out.

I may even dare to say that the fact you oppose to it being on prime-time tv, when I know plenty of people who are excited by that very thing, makes you sound like a sexist dinosaur.

"Yeah, women's football is great, as long as I don't have to hear about it".

If I've taken your post the wrong way, then please forgive me and explain what you meant.
If it's as I read it, fuck off and grow up!

Great move for that goal.

The defender was really unlucky. I thought that was a great clearance.
