That goal wasn't a height issue, it was a "what the fuck am I doing" issue.
Yeah, there's also that in womens footie.
The goalie almost seems like an after-thought sometimes.

Both teams lacking quality all over the pitch. England have been really poor in the final third, and when we have created chances we've completely messed them up. Wouldn't rule out a goal at either end as despite us being on top we do look a bit vulnerable at the back.

Millie Bright seems to have really improved. I remember thinking she was a bit slow and cumbersome a couple of seasons back, but she's been really good the last few games I've watched. Maybe, like Dier she is in a system that suits.

Typical first game nerves, I reckon.
Both teams look like they have a lot more to offer.

Not quite sure if England is in the top tier for this tournament, but Spain losing the best player in the world a couple of days before it starts hurts them a lot.

Yeah, I remember thinking she looked slow and clumsy a couple of years back but maybe that was just her getting used to international footie.
She's looked tidy tonight.

Got to say, great crowd, atmosphere and result. Maybe not the best performance but its tournament footie, so things are different. Happy for the girls to have experienced this

Enjoyed that and come on girls, let's win this fucker!

that poor record crowd having it "shoved down their throats" ?

the atmosphere was actually better than some England mens internationals
Yeah, wasn't as high pitched as when they fill the crowd with kids.
Was a great crowd.

Fair play I’ve taken a beating ? my view basically comes from watching a lot of sky sports news and in the 2 main slots I watch was them sitting on that bus. To the people that say well just switch off in the end I did but also felt a bit p*seed off as I’m paying £50 a month and was hoping to catch up on transfer news and other sport that’s going on. Maybe I was just unlucky in my timings today I have no idea. I just hope sky balance it out. I genuinely hope England do well and everyone that gets enjoyment from it has a great tournament.

Anyone watching Norway vs N. Ireland tonight? Norway look clinical. N.I showing a lot of fight but the gulf in class between the two sides is pretty big

I missed the first half, but I've got it on now.

Really poor defending there. Two Norway players just stood and let it bounce.

Wasn’t great defending there was it, also felt like the keeper could have done better…. Maybe I’m being overly harsh.
