Vardy really isn't an international level striker. Fits a system tailored for him at Leicester and that's it.
I’d actually disagree as I think he’s an excellent striker but we’re not giving him a chance by trying to play too direct to him.

I’d love to see him at Spurs with that work rate and intensity he’d suit us perfectly even if it would never happen

This is a pathetic display from England so far and has been a disaster of a decision by Southgate imo. I laugh at all these people saying losing this is better than winning. England haven't won a knockout game since 2006 and it is highly likely that the next game will be England's last in the competition. Those looking past the next match are either extremely arrogant or bonkers.

Dembele and Vardy would be hilariously incompatible.

But yeah I agree, he's amazing on the counter. Problem is we don't really do that these days.
