Good times. They look tired though. A few important days of rest ahead!

Gutted that we’re out but I never expected us to go to the quarterfinal, before the WC started I would be happy if we even scored

I hope England win the WC now, Kane win the Golden Boot

Pickford is class and even though I’m not Trippier biggest fan he’s been brilliant

Genuinely don't think we've played that well, overall, and we're in the semis of the WC.

If we can find a way to loosen up our game much earlier in the next match/es and let our quality come through more, we have a chance of winning it (still think France will be in the final and will be super tough to beat).

Never thought we'd be in this position, so super chuffed whatever happens from here (especially having won a pen shoot-out).

Huge props to Southgate, who I had no faith in whatsoever.

I'm not sure we have enough to win it. Let's be fair we haven't played anyone with real quality yet. But whatever we end up with it's exceeded my expectations and made me interested in England again

Actually feels so surreal to say England are in the semi final's of the World Cup, crazy. Such an achievement no matter what happens now. I've never felt proud of an England team in my lifetime until now. It actually feels great to not have a team based on Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard etc.

So excited for Trippier's season with us as well after excelling here so much.

People forget we didn't play very well in Italia '90 either.

So chuffed for this group of lads. Most goodwill-deserving bunch to put on an England shirt since Euro 96, by a mile.

I think people thought something similar about Germany 4 years ago.
